The immobilizer stays active until you actually try to start. To start (and turn the immobilizer off) the key needs to be in the ignition, the code in the fob read by the security system and the ignition switched to start - this is when the immobilzer LED goes off.

If the car was unlocked and had the correct key the car would still not start unless the key was attached to the correct fob.

"Lock Down"? I'm assuming you mean the vehicle's engine has gone into a safety setting and limiting the vehicle's power? A "Limp Home Mode". Firstly you will need to find out why it has done this. Are there any warning lights on the dash board? You will need to get the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to check for Trouble Codes. These codes will give clues as to what the problem is. If you need to pay for this service ask at 4 or 5 garages as prices can be VERY different. Once the repair has been done you will need to get the vehicle plugged into a professional Diagnostic System to have the vehicle electronics reset. non in USA< so no books to read to you from here. fuses are first we check them all. and in USA we can scan the car OBD2 AND it MAY SHOW WHY.>? blower dead , as in silent even on high.????? try high speed mode blower first, if that works and lower speeds not the resistor block is bad. if all speeds dead , see below. is this car manual controls or climate controls the later uses no resistor block it uses powerful controller.. bad blower, or bad controls. the resistor block if present at all, is on the output casing the blower as the resistor gets super hot so is cooled by the blower air flow. the blower can be hot wire tested in place. it has only 2pins, one is ground other is 12vdc. so we hot wire it using 15amp fuse jumper and yell, see it is good easy. now know input to blower is dead. we discover if manual or climate controls are here and I can not do this in USA<

I presume you replaced the damaged loom and cleared the OBD codes.

The simple answer is No. They will have to be specific to your vehicle.There are lots of companies out there who can supply conversion kits but always go for a brand name if you can to guarantee the quality of the parts. This could also turn out to be a lot of work and a LOT of money. Air suspension often uses a different set of mounting points to a traditional spring and damper, (a McPherson strut). That may mean you might have to change the hub knuckles and several other suspension parts to get them to fit correctly. Unless you are building a serious "Off Roader" It would be cheaper and easier to stay with the air ride.

flown fuse or bad wiring, use volt meter finds bad wiring, lost off 12vdc power. use the maker find it.

Hi, If you cannot find any other source than the hydraulic booster, then I would recommend having a mobile mechanic verify your work and if the mechanic confirms, then it would be time to change your hydraulic booster. Thank you.

Hi, The P008B-85 code relates to a high pressure fuel system. I couldn't find information on the second code, please check in the cars manual or with your local autozone for information on that code. Thank you.

It's possible a suspension solenoid has failed. Have you tested it or confirmed they're operating properly? Part# RVH500070 (left side) It's also possible the circuit the solenoids are part of was damaged during the wiring chop. I'd recommend starting with voltage drop tests throughout the vehicle and see if there's high resistance somehwere that shouldn't be.

Disconnecting the battery makes the anti-theft module and the ECM lose its memory and pairing. The security system just needs to be reset, but apparently it has a code.
