hello, it takes about 5 hours actual time for a mechanic using air powered tools and has all the equipment needed such as a transmission jack, a lift and the tools needed.

Can a LSPV on 1991 Toyota PU be rebuilt, it is leaking?
I don't know if there are any rebuild kits, I haven't heard of any, but your local parts store like an O'Reilly's should carry a universal portioning valve for around $80.00 or you can try Toyota for a new one $$$ or try Ebay, they vary in price from about $60.00 - $400.00.

You could also try taking it apart and cleaning it, if the brake system was never flushed on a regular basis, then more than likely it's not a defective valve, it's just clogged up with sludge.
