The problem is on your master and clutch slave cylinders. You said were dry and put clutch fluid. Wont do the proper job for clutch work as the inside rubber seals are not strong enough to make the pressure needed to release the clutch.

Firstly check the wiring then motor is only working one way that means that the power is not being reversed to put it back up, switch the wires around from the switch if it go's back up then you know there is a wiring fault.

From 53 reg onwards, diesel pump is under R.H. rear wheel arch, hidden by the plastic wheel arch liner. Older versions have combined fuel pump/sender in the tank (under R.H part of rear seat).
You should be able to hear a faint purr from the pump when ignition is turned on but engine not yet running.

It is burning oil. The most likely one or more piston rings are worn out. Consult a tech, on what to do next, like repair the motor or replace it.

Start with a phone call to a Freelander dealer, somewhere. As far as I know, factory original cars/trucks have the amplifier built in to the radio head, including Land Rovers. Ask their "parts department" this same question. They will know if there is a separate amplifier. If there is, by chance, I sould suppose it to be inside the dashboard in the vicinity of the radio head. God bless your efforts.

check the light globe as a lot of cars have two filaments in the halogen globe. One for low beam and one high beam filament. You could get a 12v probe and then pull of the light plug and see if low beam bul is getting 12 volts when lights on low beam.

belts do fail and if a second belt was damaged by the first failure , it would make sense to replace both belts at the same time better now that again in the near future when it will most likely be at the most inconvenient time you could imagine

I believe the film on your window is coolant vapor. To test this go to autozone or similar and get a coolant leak detection kit. The kit contains a UV flashlight a pair of glasses and a dye you add to the radiator. Add the dye to radiator, drive vehicle normally but run heater, let film condensation on Windows. Wait until dark and put on the glasses. Shine light on the Windows that have film if the window glows then the film is antifreeze vapor and not safe to breathe.

did you install new filter in the right direction??? filters have a "flow arrow" pointing to which way it goes arrow points to the engine... also did a lot of junk come out of old filter or the fuel line if so dirt is now blocking fuel rails... dirt will now pass through injectors ...

Check for bubbling in the reservoir tank. It is possible that there is a head gasket leak. Look for steam coming from the exhaust pipe? Steam coming out from reservoir cap vent!
