Water pump went out on

A bad EGR valve could cause your car to experience hard starting, a rough idle, cruise control surges, popping noises from the exhaust, backfiring and sudden engine stops with cold weather or after deceleration.

No injector pulse while cranking. The engine only starts with start fluid. With the engine running the engine seems normal.

If you have no pulse at crank position, but do at the run position. Replace the ignition switch.

Need the radio code for my 1996 honda accord

if you dont have your radio code then we need to get your serial number, there 3 ways to get it.
* First try looking in your glove box for a sticker which will be a 7 or 8 digit number (your serial number) if its not there, then try this - With the radio off hold in buttons ' 1 ' and ' 6 ', while holding those in turn on the power button, that should give you your serial number,
* If that still dosnt work then you will have to pull the radio out of the dash and get the serial number off of the back of the radio.
* Once you have your serial number contact your local honda dealer and tell them your situation and they will be able to give you the code to unlock your radio.

Also, you will have to contact your Honda Dealer. The original selling dealer may have the code on file. If not you will have to remove the radio and get the serial number of the chassis. With this serial number, any Honda dealer can provide the correct code. There is no other way to unlock the radio than with that code.

Good lukc (remember rated this).

Remove front bumber from 1996 honda accord lx

I believe there will be many screws under the car with the splash shield that must be removed. Remove screws/retainers from the fender well liner in each wheel well, but only toward the front (no need to remove the entire thing). Behind the fender liner toward the front of the car you'll see some screws/clips holding the bumper to the front/bottom of the fender. You'll need to remove each turn signal in the front of the bumper with a long phillips screwdriver. Use a flashlight to look in from the middle of the lower bumper and you'll see a hole where the screw driver goes in (loosen the screw, but it probably wont come out). Pop the lamp assembly out, but don't force it- the opposite side of the lamp has a tab that fits in a slot to help hold it in place. Look straight back from where the turn signal lamps were removed and you'll see 2 bolts on a metal bracket. There are 2 on each side, behind each lamp. You'll need some long extensions to get all the way in there. Be sure to support the bumper as you take these out, because they are the main support points for the bumper assembly. Once these are out, the bumper should come off, or at lease you'll see if there were any small screws you missed. FYI, I left almost all of the screws out of my bumper (except one on each side where it attaches to the fender), so all I have to do is remove those 4 main bolts behind the turn signal lights to drop the bumper.

1996 Honda accord no crank intermittently

cranking is turning the engine over from you misinterpretation of the term the problem is that it is cranking but not running if that is correct then yes the cam shaft position sensor may very well be the cause of the not running at times as it controls the ignition and injector operation , the same as the crank shaft position sensor could be a loose connection that has now come apart or the sensor has finally reached a point of failure that it needs to be replaced

Hello,

Were you able to fix your problem? I'm having the same issue with my car, where the Odometer intermittently jumps from 0-48. At times when I start driving the engine stalls and the Odometer starts to act up. The Egine Light is always on. I would appreciate any help.

D4 light blinks CEL lit up and car will not start, fuel pump not priming, why?? on 1995 Honda Accord

D4 is a transmission problem. It wouldn't cause the car not to start. If you don't hear the pump coming on when the key is turned on, Most likely the pump died. Could be the fuse or wiring also. Check grounds. Both could be a bad ground.

I have a 96 honda accord ex 2.7L v6... single *click* noise

Usually this is caused by bad connection on one of the Battery terminals. First thing to do is remove Bat terminals and clean them thoroughly Also check the connection of the big bat cables to the connector. They have a tendency to corrode and fail. If so new connectors are available at any auto supply. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gary_9c859f4aa7e5ab10
