Sounds like you blew the main power fuse, Its located in the fusebox under the hood, look for an 80amp to 100amp fuse could be less depending on the vehicle, Its different from the regular ones as its bigger and bolted in place, replace this fuse, While in there look for other blown fuses as well. the fuse box is under the hood, there is a diagram on the box, just incase here it is..

check bulbs/ fuse/ reverse switch on gear box/broken wire

It could just be a stopped up fuel filter.... Popping could be from it leaning out.

you may need to hook it up to a scanner, and check for fault codes. this could lead you in the right direction. maf sensor fault or ambient air temp fault etc. thats where i would start if the engine light is on which it should be there will be some type of fault code, I would say either maf sensor or fuel pump.

next visually check connections and wiring at said faulty sensor, broken rubbed through wires and moisture may cause problems but usually it s the sensor. unfortunely.

if this does not correct the problem may need to take it to a garage

Have you replaced the pump? Is fuel coming from the weep hole in the side of the pump?
