Check the ASD relay and the fuel pump relay.

all the inner plugs i had to get from underneath the van and reach on top just in front of the fire wall. there is room. but not much.

I had the same problem with my van, it turned out to be the EGR valve (emissions-gasoline-regulator) valve. It cost about $65, but well worth it!!! About a 20 min. job
