Temp guage in red' dummie light on engine not hot
Sounds like a faulty sensor, if the actual temp is 195/215. The ICM is processing the information it receives from the sensor and performs accordingly. A complete diagnostic scan would be helpful in determining the proper repairs needed to correct the problem.
Good luck...i hope this helps, please rate me a fixya.

How to tell if you have a bad coolant temperature sensor?
You can oh it, measure the ohms with a resistance or oh meter. Typical, at 70* F, the resistance would be 1000 ohms, use your model service data.
The sensor may have two sensors in it. One for the temp Gage, the other for the computer.
An other kind of sensor is a basic on or off, open or closed contact. This is used on dummy lights and to turn on the radiator cooling fan.
Orginally, the temp gauge reads
2 blocks is fast to reach boiling.Take the cap off the overflow tank and fill it right to the very top with coolant.Start the car and watch for a steady stream of bubbles. If you see a steady stream you do need a head gasket or have a crack somewhere in a combustion camber.
4 out of 6 coils not firing
Our all of the coils new or our they originals ? Our they in the same cluster or separated ? If they our all in the same cluster you will have to change the whole cluster. If they our they our signal's change the bad one. If they our new take them back to the parts house.
What makes up the governor assembly in a Chrysler 300M
All the parts you listed are internal to the transmission. The cable is external - it runs from the shifter lever to the range selector lever on the transmission. Their analysis doesn't sound right though. If the cable is broken, the shifter should move freely as you described. But that (broken cable and bent lever) happened AFTER the problem of the transmission being stuck in reverse. Your efforts to unstick probably bent the shifter and broke the cable. It would seem something was jammed before you tried to get out of reverse, possibly inside the transmission.
Chrysler 300M replace positive battery cable
II sounds like the battery lead is connected up incorrectly and it may not be allowing the battery to charge properly or maybe in reverse.
At some point your really need to cut your losses and take your car to an Auto Electrical professional who can visually diagnose the problem - quickly and cheaply.
You will get it fixed properly, and save a lot of heartache !!!!
2001 chrysler 300m - I need to find the fuse for
If it is not in the fuse box under the dash, by the driver's legs, then it may be in the box by the battery under the hood. The fuse boxes should have legends on them, but if they don't and you don't want to start randomly removing fuses, you can buy a fuse (continuity) tester at the car parts store relatively inexspensively. This tool allows you to test fuses without removing them.
Hope this helps,
matt
