1997 Dodge 3500 Turbo Diesel. I bought and replaced both batteries and the alternator and it's still not charging. My charging light comes on after about 5 or 10 minutes. Why is it not charging please

Question edited for clarity and add some punctuation. Question moved to model category. For strangeness like that, you need an auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer to check for diagnostic trouble codes. They can also record what happens after 5 or 10 minutes when the light comes on. Some ideas in the link https://www.google.com/search?q=1997+dodge+3500+charging+light+comes+on+after+10+minutes ..

What causes deisel trucks to be so noisy

A petrol engine has spark plugs to fire the fuel and air mixture. When the spark occurs it starts a flame that travels outwards to the farthest reaches of the combustion chamber. The pressure on the piston rises progressively to a peak and as the piston is forced downwards the fuel is still burning and so the pressure remains almost constant for a time and then as the fuel is exhausted the pressure falls progressively. Things in a petrol or gasoline engine happen fairly gently and progressively and the piston is pushed down. A diesel engine is known as a compression ignition engine. It has no spark plugs to fire the fuel, instead it has a very high compression ratio that by the end of the compression stroke has produced a high pressure in such a very short time it has become a very hot and very dense atmosphere inside the combustion chamber. The speed of induction and the design causes the hot atmosphere to keep swirling. Into this very hot place a very fine mist of diesel is sprayed at a very high pressure and the fuel droplets mix with the swirling air and heat up until each tiny droplet begins to burn almost simultaneously in every part of the combustion chamber, This, which is more of an explosion than a burning, causes the pressure to rise to a peak almost immediately and then reduce progressively as the piston is forced down. Things in a diesel engine happen suddenly and rather than being pushed down the piston is kicked down quite violently. It is for this reason the internal components of a diesel engine tend to be stronger and heavier. The noise you refer to is known as "the diesel knock".

1997 dodge ram 3500 no power windows

If none are working...fuse, or relay. if just single window not working, that leans more toward individual switch.

I have a Dodge 3500 Ram with an Automatic 6 speed

sounds like you may havea torque converter lockup issue, one way to check is while in slower traffic (15-35mph) gear down your transmission such that you are at a higher rpm (2000-2500) then take your foot all the way off the throttle, if it is in lockup your engine rpm will stay about the same, if not it will go to about idle.If the tcc doesn't unlock while shifting it will shift very hard and if it slips it will make your temperature increase

I have a 1997, 1 ton, 3500 dodge dually.

what does the exhaust smell like? if it has a sweet smell to it check your head gasket, and head. there does not have to be oil in the coolant to have a bad head gasket. if there is a heavy engine oil smell, check to see if your turbo is bad. if it smells like raw fuel you either have an injection system or compression problem
