knowing your fuel system operation is a must at first to determine a possible solution to ur issue that is if ur glow plugs are working in order heat and time wise lot of the time u might be able to locate a solution using YouTube.com. Good luck

I had the same problem on a 94 dodge with the cummins. It seems the crank sensor that reads from a notch on the harmonic balancer was the problem Without this sensor reading that the engine is running the alternator wont charge. Possibly the same problem with yours

It souds like your starter mounting bolts may have come loose and the gears are mis-alligned....may also a weak battery

With the key in the start position move the gear leaver through its full range , If the starter tries to engage the switch needs adjustment . If no engagement the wiring or the starter is at fault.

If you are getting vacuum I would check the CAD (Center axle disconnect). You may want to go to a posi-Lok cable actuator if you're going to replace the vacuum actuator, better performance and you know it's going to engage!

The trans fluid cooler(s) are draining back into the pan when the truck is parked. Depending on the year of your truck and which engine you have, there may be an updated cooler line with an improved check valve but on the older diesels (2 gen) we remove them anyway. After you start the engine, shift the trans into neutral and let it build pressure before you put it in drive (or anything else). It won't build pressure in park and if you put it in gear before there is pressure, it will wear the clutch material.

That's hard to say from here, I know it will take some time for the fuel to pressurize the injector system before it will start, does the system have a bleeder valve located on the injector lines? Have you checked the fuel filter and fuel pump and fuel pump fuses? Why did you change all these parts to begin with? Did you check the owner manual for a fuel pump shut off emergency switch? I hope one or some of these suggestions help, it's hard to answer your question without knowing more about the problem!

yup a new set of glow plugs its what fires over a desiel engine.similar to spark plugs to a gas engine. the glow plugs get weak and arnt hot enough to fire the fuel. hope that helps

remove serpentine belt. inside the crank pulley there is a large bolt. removal is usually done with a impact wrench. behind the balancer is your crankshaft sensor (CKP sensor.)

check fluid level replace trans cooler line with check valve its stuck open and the trans drins back till it re primes after starting

run fault codes first . Check oil colour and if not bright cherry red replace it . Look for a torque converter clutch solenoid problem
