I have a 87 s10 2.8l 4x4. The vacuum lines for the 4x4 are not hooked up. Does anyone know where these three lines go? A picture or some direction would be fantastic.
Thanks

1987 chevy s10 2.5l tbi will not start. changed bad fuel pump works well now strong pressure to throttle body. change fuel pressure switch, oil pressure switch, o2 sensor, map sensor, distrib cap, rotor, electric part on dustrib, check for 12v to fuel injector good, check ground good, fuses good, ecm swapped. truck will run if using starter fluid.
That eliminates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Have you checked the fuel injector itself for an open winding or stuck valve plunger? There should not be a steady 12 volts to the injector--if good injector, it would be spraying fuel steadily into the throttle body. But at least the engine should try to run if poorly. Take the injector out, dry it off with air, and intermittently apply 12 volts to one terminal while grounding the other. You should hear a click from inside every time you touch 12 volts. If not, replace it. If it does, it may be plugged with debris. Try blowing through it in reverse with compressed air.

Have 87 Chevy S10. How do you remove the windshield wiper arms? Need to remove the bolt on the backside of the wiper motor to replace it but cant get in the firewall. Need to remove the wiper arms and then the grill below them.
The wiper arms have a push in tab at the very bottom at the fitting that is pressed into the wiper linkage below the screen. Use a flat headed screwdriver to pry out the tab. Once out the arm can be pulled right off. Now you can remove the cowling screen

I need a diagram for the serpentine belt for a 2.8L engine in a 89 S10. Searching this site I see that some genius said that you should "look under the hood". I looked - no help. I NEED A DIAGRAM. Anyone have one?
Depending on how your vehicle is equipped will determine the belt routing, see attached.

the blower motor was replaced and then I couldn't get the hot air to come into the cab. It blows hot air but the doors diverting the air to defrost, panel or floor, will not open to allow the air into cab. I need the vacuum line diagram to find which is broken or disconnected so it will divert air.
Does that help?

New fuel pump no power to fuel pump wire but do have power to fuel level side
Yes it does, and also a fuel pump relay controlled by the ECM or PCM.
Can be either problem.
