2005 chevy malibu i replaced ignition now it
A common problem is the ignition cylinder and/or the ignition switch. With the buzzing of the relay, i would say all this may be related to the ignition switch. A low voltage supply to any of the circuits that the switch feeds will give strange electrical conditions. If going to replace the ignition switch, then also do the cylinder at the same time. With all things described, sure sounds like the ignition switch. P.S. The locks may be related to the ignition switch problem or not at all. With that said, would suggest looking at the BCM(body control module)It control locks, and also has alot to do with the security system. See picture at bottom of this page of corroded BCM connectors.

You may have a leak in the EVP system, causing the light to stay on. It would help if you had erased the code with a code reader that allows you to erase codes in the PCM. Make sure the cap is tight and clicks at least 3 times, drive the vehicle a few miles. Stop the car, turn off the engine, then restart and drive. it may take a few "good" trips to be recognized by the engines computer borfore it turns off. If your comfortable with removing the NEGATVE SIDE battery cable for 30 seconds, then reconnecting it and make sure it is clean and tight, you can try it to see if this helps turn off the light faster. If not, you may have another issue regarding the EVAP system.

You have a door lock/unlock switch problem or a door lock/unlock switch wiring problem.
Many mechanics fear working on doors, since its a wholly different world of tools and techniques
than engine work.
Once you get inside the door lock/unlock switch area (its almost always the driver's side, rather
than the passenger side), look for a worn wire or end of a spade lug near or touching a ground, and
automotive grounds are any part of the body or door - the door is not a good ground, but it does
end up being grounded through the hinge.
Transmission fluid level?
There is a 11mm plug on the passenger side of the trans near the axle shaft. Remove that with the car level, trans hot, and engine idling. Fluid should just come out of there when its full.
Where is the drain valve
Chevy has long ago done away with coolant drain plugs. You will need a fluid evacuator to get the coolant out.
