This is a common problem with this make and model. The problem could be the instrument cluster itself because they are not made very sturdy. They also can have parts on them that fail like capacitors. Then some of them can have problems with grounding connections at a common point called the bus. You can send the unit in and have it redone by people that specialize in this problem or you can order a new instrument cluster.

unfortunately you need a new cluster this is the only fix

This is located on your cylinder head, driver's side:

ECT sensor location-4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L engine

Call your local chevrolet dealer with VIN# and proof of ownership they can get you the code that you'll after enter to unlock

well bad news is you need to replace cluster, good news is you can get it done on ebay for 100.00 or less by sending yours in and have it fixed.

The only thing I can think of is the brake warning sounds that warn you that your brake pads are getting worn out. They are little metal fingers that rub on the brake disks when the pads are low. That should make the noise in the summer too but I don't know for sure about that. You could ask your mechanic about it. hope this helps.

What is the problem? Do you have the correct ignition key for it? Might have a passive anti-theft system in it. I am not sure form your question what exactly is going on.....more information is needed. i have the same problem on instrument cluster sometimes its working very well and sometime not. i try different thins i clean the terminals adding more ground and power but the problems always come back. so i change the whole instrument cluster.i recomend to change your instrument cluster

Most likely is low fuel pressure check that and make sure it has good spark plugs

this is touchy...... FLASH LIGHT .... needle nose pliers..... 2nd person.... to hold flash light.... look inside under the ROOF LINER see is there is anything blocking SUN SCREEN if not them attempt this carefully .... person with pliers pick the center of where the SUN SHADE is reach in carefully with the flashlight shining where the pliers is... the pliers see if you can cover them with DUCK Tape to protect the shade grab shade and start to pull it out... watch both sides in case it gets stuck as your pulling it out from under roof liner... good luck
