I got a 95 corsica 2.2L failed emission test the

sounds like a bad cat and o2 sensor. try a scanner, if the downstream sensor is attempting to make a 99% fuel trim adjustment, you can bet it needs changing along with the catalytic converter. get someone to follow you and accelerate hard, a rotton egg smell is a dead giveaway

I need location of starter relay switch on my 95 chevy corsica. Put new starter/solenoid and new battery with 750 cranking amps and it tries to start but wont

What do you mean , tries to start ? When you turn the key to start what happens ? Starter clicks , starter spins the engine around . Doesn't start an run . ,what ? Now it just so happens that your vehicle does not have a relay switch . Does the car have automatic trans . or manual ? Power from the ignition switch goes through the park neutral position switch to the starter solenoid S terminal for auto trans , An through the clutch pedal position switch for a manual trans . Your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out .

Got a 95 chevy corsica, runs great but on hot days after running it a while it dont crank back sometimes. i can run a hose pipe of water over it for bout 2 mins and it fires up and goes on fine

The ignition module needs to be inspected or replaced, they tend to heat up and engine won't start til it cools down again.

Chevy Corsica 1995 4 cyl. The car was running fine one day and the next day when I started it up it backfired through the carborater and felt like it was missing. Someone told me it was a vacuume line

Listen for a hiss when the engine is running, that may help find the vac line that may have been blown off.

Serpintine bely slung off cold weather cause freeze plug to blow out

Change the oil right away, just in case coolant did somehow get into the crankcase. Those rubber plugs should not leak. Did you clean the block good where the freeze plugs goes? It needs to be free of rust, scale, and dirt so the plug seals good. When you get it sealed tight you can monitor the coolant level to see if it leaks somewhere, like the head gasket. That is the only place coolant could get into the oil. Or if you have the coolant system pressure checked, you will find out if there are any leaks like a head gasket. If the system holds pressure, you are good to go. That means the gasket is good, and since no overheating, there is no or little chance you would have a cracked block or head-another way that coolant could get into the oil.

Why does my 95 corsica run good for 30 miles then seems to flood have to wait 30 minutes to restart

Could be bad coil or crank/cam sensor that only fails as it gets hot. Could also be bad gas cap or fuel pump. Use fuel pressure gauge to see if pressure drops as it dies. If electrical, very hard to tell unless while it fails there is no spark to plugs.

Where is the low side A/C port?

If you are looking at adding r134a to the system, the new hoses you get with the r134a will only fit on the low side of the system. It is not like in the old days and the gage would fit on both sides. What with that said the low side is the one going to the dryer and the line is normally larger than the high pressure side. Hope this helps.

I have a 95 Chevy Corsica and it only cuts off wen it's hot outside. What could be the reason for that thermostat doesn't goes past the half way point. But once it get cool it cranks up and drive away

First you will need to find out if you are loosing spark or fuel when it stops running. Could be a weak fuel pump, or ignition module among other things.

Not sure about a 95, but the key is locked by an electric solenoid. The solenoid could have died. On newer models, there is a hole on the bottom of the steering column bezel. About under the switch. You can insert a screw driver and push up to unlock the ignition switch.

My 95 Corsica Temp gauge keeps heading hard for the hot zone, between 3/4 and over heat, then dropping back to 1/4 totally at random. Fan definitely goes on. Topped off all fluids, changed oil and fil

You need to bleed it. Leave the radiator cap off, start it up and when the thermostat opens it should push out bubbles out through the radiator, if the water level drops in the raditor then top it up. When you can't see any more air bubbles, close the radiator cap. If this doesn't help then it could be the thermostat.
