if it's the original radio, the part in the dash is not the radio, it is just the control head. the guts of the radio unit are under the dash above the accelerator pedal. did you replace all of it? or just the control head or just the actual radio under the dash?

Sounds like the problem that I had with my '94 chev sub k1500, twice! The first time it was due to a blown fuse. Now I carry a spare 20A fuse when I go off-road. The second time the electrically controlled/heated, fluid filled actuator mounted on the front diff failed. I now carry a spare actuator when I go off-road. the actuator is powered when the switch on the top of the transmission is energized. I have had no problems with that switch, or the connecting wiring.

K1500 , why skip telling this fact. K2500, k3500 ? we can't just guess. we can not just drive the this truck and know. impossible. post all driving evidence first.are you on ICE ? no road conditions told nor what transfer case option it has. to fix 4wd, one must know the drive train. if not there can be no good help.blind transfer case full Dexron (max#) ATF fluid>? not all leaked or leaking out. NP205?? part time or NP208 part time,, not for pavement lacking ICE NP241 full time 4wd BW 1370, BW4401 and BW4470(borg warner) 6boxes used, the tag on the box is what it is.,for sure. the 205 is for off road only step one, under car rear of TC (transfer case) that tag learn to know the tag model 207, top line, and line 3 date 1986, 261 is 2.61:1, 4Low ratio.

Does your check engine light illuminate in the run position, key on engine off? It should do a "bulb check" by illuminating key on engine off. If it does, now would be a good time to scan it for trouble codes. If it does not illuminate, and you cannot communicate with the ecm/pcm with a scan tool, you need to start by locating a wiring diagram of your ecm, or pcm, whichever it contains. Once you've located a wiring diagram its time to find your ecm/pcm, remove the electrical connector and start checking your powers and grounds to the ecm/pcm. Use a test light that has a significant amp draw to test your power feeds, an ohm meter can deceive you by showing 12v, but that wire may be cracked and full of corrosion, preventing sufficient current flow. You can use this same method to test the integrity of your ecm/pcm grounds by connecting the end of your test light to positive battery voltage, and touching the tip to the ground pins of the connector. If you have good power and grounds, the fault lies within the ecm/pcm.

You tore something off underneath. You need to get it up on a lift.

Would it be in the engine compartment? Comes from the factory

maybe crank shaft sensor is failing

its called the fusiable link the orange wire coming from the bat terminal if this wire is soft and easy to bend it is burnt and link is bad wire must be cut out and replaced . do not put a regular wire or the next time it will burn somthing costly replace with 30 amp inline fuse or new fusiable link

Generally, Which system had the most pressure when the leak occurred? If the oil system had the most pressure, at that time, then it makes sense that you could get oil in the cooling system with no antifreeze in the oil. Or vise-versa. There may be other variables? Just my 2 cents.

You have a mechanical issue with the transmission. Have a local shop diagnose that first.

Are you low on transmission fluid?

possible harness and connections transmission could be good but wiring to servos/ solenoids different

You may have confused more than one run thru the firing order double check your connections maybe it's not locked onto the plug
