Wet rear seats coming from a leak which looks to

OMG! Thank you for your help! I had been experiencing a water leak in the backseat of my 04 Golf where the seat back meets the bottom. Bizarre! No window leak. No door leak. Where was the water coming from? I read your article and yesterday finally got to investigate. I checked under all carpeted areas and in the wheel well. Nothing. Hmmm. I decided to take apart my “trunk” area as well. Nothing still. I thought why not and removed my spare tire and there it was! The missing grommet that was letting the water in from the road and NW Oregon is wet!! I fixed the hole with a rubber plug and silicone. Thank you for your help!! Now I can put my back seat back together. I was afraid of mold. In the 2nd photo you can see where the water had been pooling and the related rust.

How do I connect immobiliser

I bought a 2000 Jetta that someone poped the ignition switch out. The imoblizer prevented the theaft. I guess the dealer wanted $800+ to repair and reprogram. I had the imoblizer deleted from the Ecu. Only $50. I'm sure they can put them back also. But then you will have to get your stuff programed. Look on line for imoblizer delete

My Car alert on Oil Problem while I have 200km since I exchange it

One possibility is that the reminder cycle was not properly reset to coincide with you next planned oil change or you might have a defective oil levle sensor - not a common problem with these cars.

How can I set Service Now mileage in my VW golf 2015 "Engine No: BFQ-164449"

Easiest way would to use the owners manual as it will tell you how to do it. Otherwise get on the Internet and play around with the search terms of what you're trying to do. You can also go to the library, get a Chiltons and look it up and make a copy of the page on the reset. Owners manual is the best bet though.

How do I reset service now alert in Volks Wagen Golf Engine No. BFQ 164449

1. Keys out of ignition- press and hold in trip odometer reset button "0.0" on right hand side of display 2. Still holding this button down, insert key into ignition and put to the on position without starting the car. 3. Display will read "service now" 4. let go of the "0.0" button and depress the "m" button on the left hand side of the display. this will re-set the service reminder. There is no confirmation on the display other than the words "service now" will disappear. You can confirm that the service reminder has been reset, or check how many miles/days remain until service at any time by taking key out of the ignition and holding in the trip reset "0.0" button for between 3 and 5 seconds. The MFD will display miles and hours until next service. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?2457779-reset-service-indicator
