Support the bumper with a jack, disconnect any electrical wires to license plate light, then loosen and remove the bolts that hold the bumper to the frame. I HAVE DONE THIS. NOT A PICNIC. GET A NEW SWITCH, SO YOU KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR. UNDER THE DASH, & AGAINST THE FIREWALL, THERE IS A FACTORY ROUND RETAINER CLIP THAT IS HARD TO REMOVE. WHEN THAT IS OFF, YOU CAN PULL OUT & PUSH UP & WIGGLE TO GET THE SWITCH OUT & UNPLUG IT. ONCE THE NEW SWITCH IS BACK IN PLACE, A HAIRPIN CLIP FROM THE HARDWARE STORE WILL HOLD THE SWITCH IN PLACE. I HOPE YOU HAVE SMALL HANDS. I DON'T.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to sub category. Two part question. First part. It depends what the relay was for. It may be something you are not using? See the relay diagram. Second part. Could be many things. Check for codes. Clean throttle body and MAF. Check plugs for gap and condition.

number 1 plug wire should be pointing towards the front drivers corner . drivers side piston order is 1-3-5-7 front to back .passengers side front to back is 2-4-6-8 then the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 . if you pull the # 1 spark plug and put your finger in the hole /remover power wire while doing this at the dist.bump the engine when you feel a rush of air that's the compression stroke when the piston is at the top of it's compression stroke . pop the cap look to make sure the rotor is pointing at the # 1 piston roughly and place cap back on so the # 1 terminal is over the wire end of the rotor contact tip and work clockwise around with the firing order and hope this helps .if it still dont want to run then you may have jumped timing chain or stretched they will jump out of time and cause a headache.

sounds like u r a temp sensor and idle air control valve away from replaceing a computer....hope it helps

could be also could be clutch in trans.

you may have a short. i would probably check the ground strap from the engine to the frame. they can rot out. my 98 chevy is garage kept with 65000 miles and it looks terrible. the rest of the truck looks new. other than that. make sure the battery is good. and possibly take it in and get it checked before more damage happens.

Broken linkage connecter at handle or latch, you have to remove the door panel for access. It is possible the actaul handle is broken where the linkage attaches.

you must replace the part where the bulbs plug in on the tail light this is a common problem

it does not matter witch way u install them as long as the keepers are held down by the bracket under the intake there is only one way to install this

u could use standard power steering fluid or trans fluid in a pinch

idk mine does it too
