i find it easier to remove the fan shroud then the pulley then remove the mounting bolts as some are behind the pulley

use a plastic wedge, and seperate the door away from the jam to crfeate enuff space so you can get a heavy duty hanger through the space created. once you have that space, use the heavy duty (wire) hanger to reach in, and press the unlock button. screwdrivers can be used in place of the plastic wedge, but wrap them in a cloth so you dont chip the paint.

Your fuel sending unit is faulty.If you can drop a gas tank you should be able to fix the fuel sender.Be careful when taking lock ring off top of tank and don't cause any sparks.You can buy this fuel sending unit from www.rockauto.com for under $50.00

Replace the power brake booster.

If you are hearing Lifters rattle it is because they are collapsing. Either they are worn or their oil supply is limited.
How is the overall oil pressure at high rpm?

I would call a Trans Shop, they would be best to tell you.

is your car a 79 or an 85?if it's a 79 you probably need to repace the dimmer switch on the floor,may be the same for a 85.
