Theres something on google about that i think you turn ignition on and hold 1 of the buttons not sure which this is suposed to reprogrambthe key to the car and visa versa but i would defobtry google as there are many uploads about this i have a m reg 180 its not that posh just a key no fob which isvthe way i like it unless its cold and my mouth gets stuck to the door lock defrosting it lol hope this gelps cheers ivan

Hello Darrell, It is IMPORTANT to note that some situations your OBD (on-board diagnostic) systems are going to tell you ... the very best information... From my personal experience OXYGEN SENSORS merely report the news... So lets say an AUTOZONE "sales clerk" does a FREE read on your car... The car is tossing alarms on the OXYGEN SENSORS... Save your money... Skip the next AUTOZONE suggestion to buy NEW SENSORS... The new SENSORS will only complain EXACTLY as well as the old ones... (don't buy them). I am going to take a WILD STAB here and suggest you can take your car to an EXHAUST SHOP... They will likely focus on BLOCKED EXHAUST ... Mine was a CATALYTIC converter... but a MUFFLER baffle will also cause popping, backfires... and check engine codes... Worse... an EXPLOSION (more likely minor... but who knows (urgent in my opinion)). Check out your EXHAUST ELEMENT PRICES on Amazon, eBay and/or Rockauto (for your location)... BEFORE going into the EXHAUST SHOP... This is a job that is not terribly EXPENSIVE if you know enough to keep the PRICES COMPETITIVE. ALL else fails... complete systems are available on-line (just be sure you comply with ALL LAWS... )...!! Hope I'm helping Carnac the Magnificent

The torque converter clutch lockup may not be disengaging. It is most likely to need a new torque converter. Possibly the torque converter clutch solenoid. For fuel economy there is a computer controlled lockup around 30 mph that is supposed to unlock when slowing to a stop. The feeling is similar to forgetting to depress the clutch on a manual when coming to a stop or trying to start in third gear. If you rev the engine, foot off brake and put in gear and quickly start moving it will be like popping the clutch or riding a bronco until you get up to speed. It will buck and stall again when you slow down. Not something to try unless you have a clear path ahead or you will crash.
