2005 Chevrolet Impala. Why did my Impala all of a sudden just won't start. I never had any problems with it before.

The reason is that it is 18 years old, it is a Chevrolet (GM) and it is an Impala as described here. https://www.vehiclehistory.com/report/chevrolet/impala/2005 'All of a sudden won't start' is terribly vague, turns over (cranks) but doesn't fire, just a click when you turn the key, or nothing at all? Your best bet is an auto electrician and your issue is electronic. A professional grade scan tool computer can diagnose in 20 minutes. It is far better than guessing components, swapping them out and finding it doesn't fix the problem. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

2005 Chevy Impala V6, 3.4 Base motor mount.

You will need a full set of metric and imperial sockets for any work on vehicles. You don't need an impact wrench. Videos that show the job. Basically, you jack the car up and sit on stands or blocks. You undo all the mounts and you raise the motor to get the mounts in.

Access panel in the trunk for fuel pump on 2005 impala?

Not sure if there is one. My '05 Buick Century does not have an access panel. Pull back the carpet in the trunk and look for a round or oval panel with screws. It would be right over the top of the fuel tank, right over where the pump module sits in the tank-where the fuel lines come out of the tank-that is where the module is. If there is no access panel, it is a bit harder to change out the pump. You have to remove the gas tank, and pull it from under the vehicle. It was not that difficult on my Century-I did it on my driveway. Look at a repair manual for the complete procedure.

2005 Chevy Impala 3.4 V6. Why is it stuck in drive?

Question edited for clarity.Question moved to model category.Wow, that is cold for Texas. It probably has the original transmission fluid in and it is gummy and thick. The filter is probably blocked because of the cold and the shift solenoids are also sticking because of the temperature. Start the vehicle and let it tick over until it gets to normal operating temperature, then try again. Get to a transmission shop and have the transmission filter cleaned and new transmission fluid.

My 2005 Chevy Impala will not crank. I can jumper the crank relay and it will start but then stop running. I changed the starter but it will not crank?

Question edited for typos. Question moved to model category. So you turn the key and nothing happens, no click, engine doesn't turn over, nothing? You know 'cranking' is turning over? If the engine doesn't 'fire', it isn't running. There is no such thing as a 'crank relay', you mean the starter relay or perhaps the starter solenoid. Call out a mobile auto electrician. They can hook up a fancy $5,000 scan tool computer and diagnose this in 15 minutes. It is electronic, maybe the immobilizer. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

2005 Impala with dead battery. Key will not fully insert into door lock or trunk. Now what?

How often do you actually use the key this way when the car is running properly? If you rarely use it, over time the tumblers inside the lock get dirty and damp. This can make them 'sticky' and difficult to move. Dose the lock with releasing fluid and leave if for 30 minutes. Reinsert the key and work it in and out while wiggling it side to side. Do this for at least a full minute. Dose the lock again with releasing fluid, leave for another 15 to 20 minutes and repeat the 'Wiggling' method. BE PATIENT! It's a pain in the tailbone repair and can take some time to do.

I have a 2005 chevy impala 3.4l v6. I am getting

Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly.
A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.
Symptoms Symptoms may include:
  • the engine may be harder to start
  • the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
  • other symptoms may also be present
Causes A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plugs or wires
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector(s)
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
  • Faulty camshaft position sensor (more than likely your culprit)
  • Defective computer
Possible Solutions If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.
Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.

How fold down rear seats of a 2005 chevy impala

To fold down, follow these steps: 1. There is a loop located in the middle of the back seat - pull it forward and the bottom part of the rear seat will fold down 2. Wedge the the back seat, and it should not give you any trouble in folding down 3. To ensure that the seat goes all the way down- remove the headrest. If your seat can not be folded-down, follow these steps to remove it: 1. Put some pressure on the bottom cushion of the back seat. 2. To release the bottom seat, pull the T handles, and then remove the cushion 3. There will be some bolts and screws on the bottom of the seat - remove them, and then you can pull out the seat.

05 Impala 3.4 upon accellaration it bucks and jumps ,new TPS MAP Fuel pump and filter Ignition switch and still does it and also stops running at times , do you have any suggestions?

Probably bad spark plugs, wires or ignition coil. Also cylinder number one spark plug is prone to cracking. If you cant isolate a cylinder pull each plug out and inspect for carbon tracking or plugs worn. Recommend using AC Delco original equipment replacement spark plugs.
