Shifter stuck in park!
you have to take off the plastic all around the gear shifter. You can wedge a screw driver carefully around the edges and pry the plastic off then there is a screw on the shifter take that off and slide the top off and then take off the rubber until the whole shifter is exposed then you will see in the cavity on the right side a little metal round tab on a spring that you have to push in with a screw driver and it will release the shifter. Good luck

Hello! Whether your vehicle is premium or standard the wiring is almost the same...Both have a Left front Speaker and a Left Front Tweeter...You did not specify which speaker (Left Front ) wasn't working; However it really doesn't matter...Either the speaker is blown or the wiring has a poor connection or is broken (open)...Here are the wire colors...LF Door=Tan (+) and Gray (-)...LF Tweeter=Tan (+) and Yellow (-)...The Yellow and Gray are tied together...Pop the speakers out using a thin blade screwdriver with the end taped...Visually inspect...If you have an ohm meter read across each speaker if good=2-8 ohms...If bad =open or 0 ohms...Guru...Saailer I’m happy to help further over the phone at

How to fold down rear seat in 2007 impala
Look in your manual to see if the seat does come down, and how to do this. If not remove the bottom half of the seat by pressing the seat torward the trunk and lifting. Then you will be able to access the bolts to remove the back rest portion of the seat. However some times you can replace the speakers through the trunk.
My 2008 chevy impala has intermittent speakers on
Well its most likely a bad connection at the ignition switch a lose or corroded blade or female connector not a main power wire .Or a connection at the radio it self .
Problems like this ie .electrical problems seam hard to understand at first . But what you need to do is look at the problem 3 speakers intermittent yet they work sometimes the chime for the key same .
I would pull the radio fuse out of the fuse box first if the chime problem goes away the problem is likely a connection on the back of the radio or corresponding wiring connections .If not then you need to look at the ignition and door switch door open door closed .
In short don't ripe things apart its much cheaper and easier to test then form a plain . You may need to buy a cheap tester or meter have fun with it.
I have a 2007 Impala that I purchased new it now
Probably not. GM should have notified you of the problem, but after 10 years, you are probably stuck. I had the same problem with a past Onstar upgrade offer that expired before I found out about it - it appears that unless the problem can cause injury, they are not obligated by law to issue a recall. The Alldatadiy.com website usually lists any technical notices for cars, and in future you may wish to look at what they have for this vehicle to ensure all recalls have been taken care of.

I have a 2007 Impala LT that just turned 93,000 miles. Other than some tire pressure sensor issues, I have never had any problems with this car. In the last 2 weeks we have taken the car in for tran
A lot depends on how and where you are diving the car, and what you can do about repairs. I have found that, on average, cars at 10+ years old start requiring replacement of parts that are subject to wear or age, such as what you are experiencing. If you want to keep driving it, you should expect to be servicing sensors and other engine parts, brakes, suspension parts, fuel system parts, etc. to keep it running properly.
There are a lot of opinions out there (including mine), but I think there are two schools of thought on this.
Depreciation is a major factor, and at 10 years for a car that needs repairs, it really isn't worth much. So, if you can and have the time and tools to do most of the work yourself, this is the way to go as the total cost over life (including original purchase price) is a lot less than the cost of a much newer replacement vehicle.
However, if you cannot do any work yourself, repair labor costs will eat your lunch, and you are better off getting it to an acceptable working condition and then unloading it, going for a much newer low mileage vehicle. I would suggest if you go this route, be sure to get a decent power train warranty and that the new one is no older than three years.

As far as I know there is no idler by-pass pulley for that car available yet..So,no.
However the compressor may be ok. If the A.C. is off the compressor doesn't spin, the only
moving part is the pulley on the end, and it's bearing. I suspect it is that outer bearing that is bad,
not the whole compressor.
A good shop can pull that bearing and install a new one (A GOOD shop could do it
in the car and not even loose the freon!)
Hope this sheds some light.
