You need to get your vehicle to a good mechanic as this could be almost anything! One of the cylinders isn't firing correctly. This could be a fuel, an air or a spark issue. It will need further investigation. It also suggests there might be a problem with one of the O2 sensors on the exhaust system. I was unable to find a listing for P1317. P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected. P1000 = OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete. P1314 = Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 2. P1316 = Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions. P1317 = (no code found). P1647 = Linear O2 Sensor Control Chip (Bank 2).

Get another unit from a junker. Make sure it has a code, and find out the code from your radio first as well before removing it.

Probably not a relay as some circuits will be hard-wired into the battery circuit. I once encountered a car behaving just like yours and a very disenchanted owner. Over a period of a couple of months it had been attended by a couple of breakdown services and had been several times to various repairers. The fault turned out to be a bad connection where the battery terminal had been crimped to the battery cable. It appeared normal but inside, when I cut it open, the wire strands were black and scorched resulting effectively in a random disconnection of the battery. When the car had started it behaved normally but getting it started was another matter entirely.

I expect the master lock that sends the signal to the other locks is malfunctioning, the master lock is usually in the drivers door, can the doors be locked from the switch inside the vehicle, or does the same thing happen ?

Hello John, your owners manual should provide the correct procedure for jump starting your vehicle. Check the "In case of emergencies" section.

Is there any of the disc sticking out? If it is you might be able to grip it with fine nosed pliers and pull it back out. If it has disappeared into the dashboard your only option is to remove the radio unit out of the dash and get it out that way. Try the YouTube link below it is for an X type similar to yours. either way there is a good chance you'll have a badly scratched cd.

You can go to harbour freight and get a plastic welder but don't use the sticks it has with it get the big zip ties use those they hold better

Try replacing the head light relay and or unhook the battery for few minutes and let the body control module reset.
