sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. vacuum controls the mechanics of the system. have you had any after market alarms or stereos installed? they mess things up and stuff gets unplugged when they install stuff and do not know when they put it back together

Factory wire diagram for stereo/radio
a easy way to find speaker wires if you are not sure is take a 9volt battery and touch the wires, you will hear a pop in the speakers and that will tell you the location and which speaker it is, then mark those wires. the 9 volts will not hurt any items because of the low voltage. just a tip

Engine smokes when I let up on accelerator
when you let up on the accelerator the vacuum in the manifold reaches 20 inches of vacuum or more. If the valve stem seals are worn/hard or cracked this high vacuum draws air and oil from the head down into the combustion chambers and this is blue smoke out the back It is the same as if you let the engine idle for several minutes and then rev it up and you get blue smoke out the back. It is also possible that if the rings are worn you may get the same affect. I would go for valve stem seals or worn valve guides.

May be the coolant sensor or one of your A/C sensors. Try unplugging each sensor one at a time when you stop the vehicle and see if it shuts down then. Normally it's the coolant sensor. You may have two on the intake.
