2010 Silverado after rain or carwash truck dont start, lights on but no crank, i unplug the negative of the battery , wait a min, put it back on, starts fine, sometimes shifts weird, shuttoff than start again, runs fine. could be there a electric part like a modul or relais under the windshield or in the fender what cause this? not happening when its dry. need answers

Just to be sure... (since i just did this today). Steering wheel CC would turn on, but didn't actually work and nothing on the dash indicated. I replaced the brake switch like all sites tell us to do first. Ran the truck over 25mph and hit the CC button. Nothing on the dash, darn... but... when i hit the set button CC worked and dash indicator came on. Moral to this story is the dash light does not illuminate until the Set button is engaged! Maybe a duh moment, but i was disappointed there for a minute.

if you have a limited slip differential or a diff locker in action , that is what will happen if the unit is locked up if you do not have anything but a normal diff, it indicates gear failure and the side gears ( spider gears ) have metal in the teeth and are jammed

Did you add brake fluid while bleeding? It sounds like you have air trapped in the system. Bleed them very thoroughly. It's a good idea to have help with it. You might have to bleed the back brakes too, if there is air toward that end. It's not a hard job, but it sure helps to have two people.

Bad gas, bad sensor - take to auto parts store to read codes. Plugged cat.

Carefully,clamp off just one rear at a time and then try one front at a time,it should be just one of the wheels causing the shake.Once you get down to the one or two causing the problem don't forget to check hub runout,wheel runout and wheel balance too.Sounds like rear to me.

#1 cylinder is on the left side of the engine in the front. The left side is the driver side of the truck, just to be clear.

Your radio display is backlit with a standard T5 or T10 incandescent bulb, which is replaceable.

You have all the informations to find your problem. jump a wire on connector X4 G1 tan wire to ground and check X1 E5 with a test light or multimeter to see if there is a output, you should have 12 volts. If you dont have any voltage the horn relay is defective. I check in the shop manual and the relay come with the underhood fuse block.

The new cars have the fuel filter inside gas tank along the fuel pump and they are nor replaceable.

check relays , if good then might be the contacts in the ignition switch, with gm recalling all switches maybe you can get assistance at the dealer for free

Did you check battery voltage or starter relay?..

helloyou will have to go into the big black box under the hood where the fuses are and check the start relay(read box for location) swap with another one just to see if the motor will turn over. if so replace with new one. good luck

Fuel filter is under the truck...tucked in along the rail....I have included a picture for reference.

P0449 is a code for the EVAP vent solenoid. You can find the vent solenoid on a support at the rear of the fuel tank. You have a electrical problem if you have only this code in the memory of the powertrain module. May be it's a broken wire(most of the time) or a short to ground wire.

Two possibilities. One is the blend door actuator is bad ( located under the dash, in the center). Or the controller is bad.
