Low pressure too high in ac
If compressor is not kicking in, low pressure will be too high. If Compressor IS kicking on, orifice tube may be blocked, or compressor may be bad. You need a full manifold set to work on AC, not just the gauge that comes on a refill can.
Trans acts like it is slipping. would serving it help
well is the fluid discolored brownish looking instead of red or rose pink if so it might help a little if its like described there's something wrong the cooling system is not cooling it off the right way running hotter then normal there could be a broken vacuum line causing the late shift and that will make the fluid burn you could be hard on the gas and this makes a transmission shift late and on an old truck that's 13 years old now released in 2002 and the combo of not changing it for long periods of time /driving habits/cooling the fluid the lines go through the radiator to the trans cooler that's inside it this will take down a transmission in a short time that's brand new and will surely destroy and older one but maybe there's a chance you can catch it before its ruined and give it life till the summer
