2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. New battery and starter. The starter motor spins, but does not engage the flywheel. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Either a faulty/incorrect starter solenoid or the starter is the wrong size. Check by measuring if the dog wheel actually swings out to engage with the fly wheel. Are there any teeth missing/worn on the starter ring gear.

2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Base model with no ABS system. I have the trac off, brake and ABS light on.

Question edited for clarity add maker and make some sentences. Question moved to model category. My guess is the the new ECU isn't from a base model. You need an auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer. It may be possible to program the ABS and Traction Control out of it. for the Brake Lights issue check that the bulb in the high level brake light is working. That kept me guessing for over a year! https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

2005 Chrysler Town & Country. Passenger side window problem.

HAVEK 1005 sounds right on track.... but also try this, usually works well for non functional power windows, specially Caravans.

NO COST PROCEDURE TO FIX IT:

1. Sit in vehicle, on seat next to problematic window
2. Ignition key is on
3. Door in question is opened (in case you closed it)
4. While door is open, press and hold power window button in desired window travel, keep button pressed !!
5. SLAM hard the door closed with one hand while other hand holds button as per #4.
6. Watch window operate as it should.
7. Repeat 3-6 if necessary, but usually the first try works!

NOW, for the naysayers that says you must replace power window motors etc, at $$$ cost because the above fix does not work, or is not long lasting fix, or less than a "professional fix".... Well then, when the window fails to operate again, apply same fix again at that time.

I have fixed my van this way numerous times (usually once a year), and to all local friends I recommend this fix too, likewise do the same and are happy with the solution.

Our headrest on our 2013 Chrysler T&C popped open and won't go back together.

The Chrysler Group LLC issued a safety recall back in 2013 for AHR-equipped vehicles. About 500,000 vehicles were recalled. The problem was thought to be with a microcontroller, but this did not fix the issue. AHR continued to be installed and headrests continued to burst haphazardly. Yours is in recall list. https://phelanpetty.com/blog/chrysler-dodge-ram-vehicles-may-have-faulty-head-restraint-systems/ https://www.ktblegal.com/blog/2018/august/chrysler-jeep-dodge-active-headrest/ https://www.justanswer.com/chrysler/7jwju-chrysler-200-2013-chrysler-200-headrest-will-not-pop-back.html

Where is the transmission sensor located on a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country 3.3 engine

For the 2008 Chrysler Town and Country, the transmission uses both an input (or turbine) speed sensor and an output speed sensor. These sensors help the transmission control module (TCM) understand the speed of the input shaft and the speed of the output shaft, allowing the TCM to adjust shifts and maintain optimal performance. Location: Generally, on this model:
  • The Input/Turbine Speed Sensor is located on the front of the transmission, close to the transmission cooler lines.
  • The Output Speed Sensor is located on the front side of the transmission, typically more toward the driver's side.
However, accessing the exact location can sometimes be difficult due to other components in the way, and visibility may be limited. Replacement Procedure: Here's a basic procedure for replacing these sensors:
  1. Safety First: Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to ensure safety.
  2. Locate the speed sensor on the transmission.
  3. Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor.
  4. Use a socket or wrench to remove the bolt holding the sensor in place.
  5. Remove the sensor. Sometimes they can be a bit snug or stuck due to dirt and grime.
  6. Install the new sensor. Ensure that it's seated properly.
  7. Reconnect the electrical connector.
  8. Reconnect the battery terminal.
  9. Clear any transmission codes using an OBD-II scanner.
Difficulty: The process isn't typically too challenging for someone with basic mechanical skills. However, the difficulty can arise if the sensors are stuck or if there's limited space to access them. Having the right tools and perhaps a flexible socket extension can make the process smoother. It's always a good idea to refer to a repair manual specific to your vehicle for detailed instructions and illustrations. If in doubt, or if you encounter challenges, you might want to consult with a mechanic or professional before proceeding. Lastly, the confusion online might stem from the various changes and designs Chrysler has used over the years, and the terminology might vary between sources. It's always best to cross-reference with a reputable repair manual or a trusted mechanic.

P0430 means the Cat has been damaged. P0622 means the alternator is not charging properly. Etc etc. Probably the general cause is a broken wire.

2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The service immobilizer light came on and car won't start. The car won't start at all due to this?

Question edited to add some real sentences. Question moved to model category. Not sure what you mean you "got a key programmed already". The key and the vehicle need programming together at the same time using a professional grade scan tool computer. You need to reset the immobilizer and security system. There are details here. Do you have a voltmeter? If the battery is below 11 volts, the security systems will fail. If the ideas here don't work, you need an auto electrician or an auto locksmith to diagnose and fix. Looking at the wires on the PCM won't help much. The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module, your antitheft and immobilizer is a joint effort between Body Control Module, Engine Control Module and Antitheft Security Module. https://www.google.com/search?q=2007+Chrysler+Pacifica+reset+security https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

Where is my fuel filter located on my 2010 chrysler sebring limited? im not even finding replacement parts

On some vehicles the fuel filter is actually built into the fuel pump so it is located inside the fuel tank. I think from 2009 the Sebring used this type of filter so you won't find a filter on it's own as a part. Unless your vehicle has above average mileage you don't really need to worry about changing the filter until it's 5 years old or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first). To replace the filter you will need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. For this you might need to drop the fuel tank out from under the car.
