Are the head lights on all the time 1999 chevy silverado 1500 4x4
In the 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500, the headlights are not designed to be on all the time by default. They are typically controlled manually by the driver using the headlight switch, although some vehicles may have a daytime running lights (DRL) feature. The torque specifications for the inner joint bolts that connect the front axle to the differential on a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 may vary slightly depending on the specific model and components used. However, I can provide you with some general torque guidelines.
Please note that it's essential to consult your vehicle's service manual or contact a qualified mechanic for the exact torque specifications, as they can vary depending on factors like the specific front axle design and any aftermarket modifications. Here's a rough estimate:
- Inner Joint to Differential Housing Bolts: Typically, the torque specification for these bolts is in the range of 85-100 lb-ft (115-135 Nm). However, it's crucial to verify the exact torque value from your vehicle's service manual.
Always use a reliable torque wrench to ensure that the specified torque is applied accurately, and follow proper tightening sequences and procedures as outlined in the service manual to prevent over-tightening or under-tightening, which can lead to problems with the front axle and differential.

2001 Chevy Silverado LT (5.3L V8) OBD2 EVAP System not ready, need the drive cycle
This may be an issue that’s easily solved but requires a diagnostic scanner that’s more advanced than most cheaper models like found at homes or most auto parts store chains. Ask friends/family who the most knowledgeable/reasonable mechanic that they know is- preferably one with training and dealership/high end shop experience- they’ll be more likely to have the better diagnostic equipment. If I took the context of the question wrong and you mean the time it takes for the evaporation system to cycle- that varies by vehicle but usually isn’t a long time- call your local dealer depending on the manufacturer of the vehicle and ask them- ask for the parts department, also try service if they don’t help. Many will allow you to ask a technician a question if you ask the right way...good luck
