What is actually wrong with it? Try the basics first. Have the dome lights inside the car stopped working as well? This could be the fuse has blown.
If it is only the trunk light it may be the bulb has blown. Another possible cause is the actual switch the trunk lid pushes on is faulty.
if it's the original radio, the part in the dash is not the radio, it is just the control head. the guts of the radio unit are under the dash above the accelerator pedal. did you replace all of it? or just the control head or just the actual radio under the dash?
You can't! You have been watching too much Dukes of Hazard :>D The days of cutting a few wires and sparking them together ended 40 years ago!
The anti theft system is protecting your vehicle by two programmed computers, ECM and BCM, an anti theft module and some sensors. You can't bypass, you can't hot wire, you have to fix the problem, not find a way around it.
Let me guess, you only had one key and you lost it. When you get down to one key, you immediately get another based on the one you have left.

Ignition control module going bad could cause this. Test for spark when it happens, you know how to do that? Pull a spark plug wire an hold a screw driver in the end an close to engine ground, have someone crank the engine.
You should see a blue or weak white spark, or do you see nothing?

I would use OEM parts, not after market as this sort of thing can happen and cause problems.
Sounds like you need a different hose for the replacement housing.
