My WTW6600SW1 Cabrio washer will not stay balanced and finish a load whether large, medium or small....HELP

Have you checked the condition of your tub bearings? If they are worn it can give you a ton of problems. There are several videos on YouTube that may help you diagnose your specific problems. I was surprised that this is a common problem with the Cabrio washer. There are tub suspension kits available that help keep your tub centered but I would check the bearings first.

Hello, my washer is approx. 5 years old, it has always been very noisie and a repair man said this was normal. My husband complains every time I use it. Now this morning I'm hearing what sounds like s

You may have something like screws or nail or something that was in some ones pocket or just fell into the tub . You may have to take the agitator out to get it out unless you can get something under it to get it out. This is pretty common I've seen nails get in a hole & wear a hole in the drum , then you have a leaking drum. Not sure but sounds like this may be your problem. Hope this helps good luck

Have something stuck between tumbler and the drum its a toploader wirlpool cabrio

Bite the bullet and tell him, its a lot better to get him or somebody who knows how to do the work than to make it worse or destroy it all together figuring it out. The drum comes out pretty easily, but definitely not a process I would feel comfortable walking someone through

Clothes have a white colored residue after wash and parts of the clothes are bone dry.

Allison, We are sorry to hear about your concerns in regards to your Washer. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. We would also recommend stacking it up so it's around the sides and the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to last row of holes in the basket to help overloading. The bulky cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. Since the washer uses less water than a traditional washer it makes it harder for it to remove excess detergent, and it can redeposit on the clothing. Use no more than 2 tablespoons per load, filling all the way to the top row or holes. Make sure the water heater is at 120°F, the best temperature to mix with cold water in. A lower temperature may not make the water hot enough, and the detergent will not dissolve properly. If you need any further assistance after trying these troubleshooting tips, please email us your address, phone number, the model and serial number, the website you were contacted on, Fixya, your review ID, and date of purchase to [email protected].
