Most all VCR players have auto tracking. When cassette is in the machine it will do the tracking for you. Sometimes a manual adjustment may be need if the player can’t find the right track for itself. When this happens it is usually a problem with the tape. Manual tracking adjustments are made on the player itself and not on the remote control. If you can’t find anything on the player that reads ‘tracking’, find it in the user guide. Sometimes cleaning the heads will solve the problem especially if all the tapes have the same issue.

has it ever spun and do music cd's work cheack the regon number on the dvds and the player

Your dvd might have defect tact switch that prevents other command or your button switch is defective, if not please check your transistor in power input in dvd module
In regards to your universal china remote yes its posible by pressing and hold scan and power to enter the code if you dont know the code, press volume up for 3 seconds until the volume appear in the tv

I had a problem when making back-up copies of my dvd movies. I was using the latest version of Nero and when I played them in my DVD Player the movie just jumped all over the place. It didn't play in order of chapters. I then tried DigitalMedia Plus V7 from Sonic that came with my laptop and they play just fine. If you are downloading stuff from the net that is in avi, divx, or xvid format your dvd player probably can't play those formats.

Try to play a music on cd instead of playing dvd. It it plays keep playing until playey got hot and drive off moisture on circuit. Let it cool down then try play dvd. If it can play severy dvd in sequence, then your unit is repaired. Keep using it to avoid condensation inside the dvd player.

Yes, you need a digital (ATSC) to analog (NTSC) OTA converter box to get local over-the-air channels. This TV only has an NTSC tuner included. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

you need to tell the t.v. via the remote which input it is supposed to be looking at in the uk the button to press is usually called av, press this and it will go av1 av2,etc look on the back of t.v. to see which one you are plugged into and this should cure it please leave feedback thanks

Check if you would have the same if you use a different signal source. Another DVD Player, a playstation or other AV devices. The source or the TV may not be understanding each other, one may be sending analog signals while TV is only recognizing digital.
