down the lower right hand side of the frame of the tv youll see the operating buttons embossed , theyre all touch sensitive so just brush over them with your finger , the bottom one is for turning on/off , then next up youll see arrows up and down for channel changing .

try cleaning t-con board to lcd panel cable..........
if sam problem just replaced lcd panel

I concur with Lightnbaby.... had same problem... my TV LNT4042HX/XAA took 10 min to start sometimes... the capacitors on the power supply board had bubbles on top 4 of them all 10/1000Uf. Samsung wanted to charge $220+ to have a guy come out and fix. J&J parts (samsung vendor) wanted $108 for a new board. I replaced the 4 capacitors for $4.68 and the TV works fine now!!!!!

Check with Samsung, that unit should be covered under the class action lawsuit settlement regarding bad power supplies that were install in many Samsung TVs. Most likely failed capacitors in the power supply. I recently had the same problem with my 26 month old Samsung LN46A750. Samsung paid for the installation of an upgraded power supply board.

Anthony, you did not list a model #. If you would it makes it eassier to determine what may have happened with your Samsung TV. An LCD would start with LN46----.I have had screen issues with some samsung product. As well as other makes of televisions that use Samsung 46 inch dislay lcd.

Tv have a power supply board problems.That the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.Take the tv aparts and check the tv power supply board carefully for dying and leaking components parts that are calling capacitors parts these capacitors parts are most likely bugles ups or puffing up onto it tops and leaking.These capacitors parts are dying and leaking that why it give the tv power supply board low power and long time to power up the tv.Have all the tools and know basic electronic also can do basic soldering work?Yes,than changes all these dying and leakages bulges ups capacitors components parts with the same Miro Fared and thoes voltages on the capaictors parts like 5 or 10 volts higher than those capacitors parts was in the power supply board u are replacing,these 5 or 10 volts higher rating will help these newly replace capacitors parts withstand heat better and last longer and the operation on the tv power supply board.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv power suply board for the replacement.
