Buddy, can you watch YouTube and specifically have you changed any settings recently. I would switch it off and on again and re try- failing that a factory reset will get things set back to default settings. Just make sure you back up any info - good luck

Let's start with the basics first in order to solve your samsung Galaxy 3 issue. Once we go that, we can move forward as necessary.
Most simple thing to do would be to restart your phone. If this issue occurred after you installed a new app, then I would suggest removing that app and checking if you're still having issues with the keyboard not working.
Here a more options for dealing with an app that's causing issues on your phone https://support.google.com/android/answer/7665064?hl=en

I would recommend performing an antivirus scan on your device. You can search for "avast" or "malwarbytes" in your app store to get started.
If that doesn't work, then you can perform a factory reset as described by Samsung here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062842/ . You'll be advised to back up your files before performing the factory reset.

Here are the facts. 1. Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is running Android 3.1. 2. Yahoo messenger is ported till Android 2.2.
Solution: 1. You may have to wait for sometime time till Yahoo compiles IM in Android 3.1. 2. Use android 3.1 provided IM client to connect to Yahoo Messenger.
my tablet did the same thing, all you have to do is make sure it is fully off, then you hold the power button for a short period of time, then you hold the volume button at the same time either up or down, (depending on which tablet you have) and wait until the android logo comes up. Then there are options, you are to choose ''wipe data factory reset button'' (you choose your options using the volume up/down button) wait maybe 30 seconds and then more options come up you choose ''reboot'' wait another 30 seconds, then turn it on it should work but if it doesn't work, take it back (if you still have the warrantee) and you could get a new one or the professional's fix it anyway hope this helps everyone. ;)

It's not that complicate to use, most people don't know that it's the regular Galaxy tab, just a different model name.
The easiest way according to Samsung is to install Samsung Kies, which allows your PC to see the tablet as a USB drive with folder structure.

Some years back I had trouble with Kies, and found another app worked better, Samsung New Photo Studio. That was for an earlier Android phone, so it may not be good on a tablet
