You have a defective camera. You may want to send it in for exchange.

Have you tried replacing the battery ?

Some of the Samsung models do have service bullitins regarding a change in the mounting and size of the LCD. Contact Samsung customer service and let them know what has happened and they will help you.

Hi,To be able for you to play mp4 videos on your camera, you have to make sure that you have converted the videos to a format acceptable to your device. Formats like , vlc, avi etc. then you also need to check the size of the video as well.Hope this helpsThanks Dennis

Is the battery fully charged? Is there anything bent or damaged on the camera that is interfering with the lens mechanism?

Have you considered consulting the relevant page of the manual which would have been supplied with the camera when you purchased it ?

I presume you have re-charged or replaced the batteries.
