Start at 000 and go up one number at a time until it opens or reachest 999.. it will take some time. .. good luck.

Pain in the *** but these are simple three tumbler locks. I am assuming it is what you have. If you start at 000 and go up in increments of 1 you can probably get this in about an hour. Other than that a screwdriver will break it open if you pry in at the locking mechanism.

I have forgotten my lock code on a task lock on a Tripp suitcase anybody know how to resolve the problem

I'm not sure of this model, but on codelocks there is normally a small hendel on the inside. Put this in a locked position and you may set the code as you wish and then release the hendel to "lock" the code.

1. Set the dials to 0-0-0. Find the lever or button next to the dials.
   
2. 2If your lock has a lever, lower it and turn the dials to the desired numbers. Return the lever to its starting position.
   
3. 3For locks with a button, push the button towards the dials and turn them to the desired numbers. Release the button.
   
4. 4The lock is now set to the new combination

You can have the locks changed but, that will cost almost as much as new luggage. They will have to be kept unlocked and a TSA strap will be needed around the suitcase.

If it has a combination lock, try 000 or 999. They are easy to decode. Or ask Bob direct

You can do it by feel or you can insert a thin piece or plastic by the side of each wheel and feel for a flat section as you turn the dials When you have all the flats start turning all the wheels until the lock pops open. Look at the YouTube site of 'The Lock Picking Lawyer' and use the search feature for 'suitcase locks'. ..

The rotate them all together until the lock pops. Or you can put a little pressure on the lock and feel when the wheel goes loose and feels different.
