I got a 09 pontiac g6 wont start.there is no crank no clicks when i turn the ignition on but the engine light is on
You have know idea how the starting system works , an with the engine light on your best bet would be to have it towed to a qualified repair shop .
When the ignition switch is turned to the Start position, the body control module (BCM) receives battery voltage on the ignition 1 voltage circuit, and less than 5 volts on the off/run/crank voltage circuit. The BCM supplies voltage to energize the RUN/CRANK Relay 32. The BCM sends a high speed GMLAN serial data message to the engine control module (ECM) that the key is in the start position. The ECM receives the message from the BCM, and also receives a serial data message from the transmission control module (TCM) containing the shift lever position. If the shift lever is in Park or Neutral when ignition switch is turned to Start, the ECM supplies voltage to the START Relay 31. The START relay supplies voltage to the S terminal of the starter solenoid, through the 30 A STRTR Fuse 26, in order to crank the engine.
Firing order 2007 pontiac g5 2.2
Standing in front of car looking at the engine, cylinder layout is from left to right > 1--2--3--4 .... So the number one cylinder will be the one that is closest to the 'passenger' side fender.
Firing order is 1 4 3 2

Do 2008 Pontiac torrent GXP have power steering pump
It could or could have electric power sterring , look up under the dash below the steering wheel an see if it has a electric motor on the steering column .
Power Steering System Description and Operation (with EPS)
The Electric Power Steering (EPS) system reduces the amount of effort needed to steer the vehicle. The system uses the power steering control module (PSCM), torque sensor, power steering motor rotational sensor, power steering motor, discrete battery voltage supply circuit, and the GMLAN serial data circuit to perform the system functions. The PSCM and power steering motor are each serviced separately from the steering column assembly. However, the motor rotational sensor is serviced as part of the power steering motor, and the torque sensor is serviced as part of the steering column assembly. The PSCM also monitors vehicle speed from the engine control module (ECM) via the GMLAN serial data circuit. At low speeds more assist is provided for easy turning during parking maneuvers. At higher speeds less assist is provided for improved road feel and directional stability.
Want to know about this code reader
I'm not sure if an obd2 will work on your year...I own a 93 formula and have a obd1 reader. It is for 92 or 93 GM to 98 GM vehicles. It works extremely well for what you would be using it for. It won't tell you exactly what is wrong, but will definately point you in the right direction.
2006 Pontiac G6. Anyone know the fuel composition sensor location?
The fuel composition sensor goes by several other names: flex fuel sensor, fuel compensation sensor, and variable fuel sensor. Its exact location varies according to the vehicle's make and model, but you can usually find it in the fuel line that connects the fuel tank and the injectors
This for flex fuel models not sure Pontiac had it.
