The system must run through its routine before it can start up. If a mechanism is jammed or a switch is not contacting, it won't complete its routine and therefore will not start up.

Question edited for clarity. It you have standby, that shows you have power. The only things you can try is a Power Reset, disconnect from the mains, for 10 minutes. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds and then plug back in. If you are using a remote, check the batteries in the remote. You can also do the check to make sure the remote is putting out a signal. Aim the remote at the front facing selfie of a smartphone. You should see a flash. Remove the cover on the back of the tv. Look for swollen or leaking capacitors. They kinda look like batteries. If they are bulging or leaking then that is your problem. You will have to de-solder the old ones off. Then solder the new capacitors onto the circuit board. Capacitors will cost about 20 dollars and installing them isn't that hard to do. It will fix your tv 99% of the time. So it is worth a try!

I think you need a third party software, just convert your videos to the format which support by your player.

Hi, I had the same problem with my SA31xx, when I plugged it into my PC it made the normal usb sounds and then a flash symbol appeared over the battery on the screen. It would not charge at all, I replaced the usb cable and it now works perfectly. Hope this helps.  

There doesn't seem to be one for this chinesium speaker.Probably a throw away item and not serviceable.

The specs for the adapter are not shown in the manual but I imagine they're marked on the speaker module.

Places like Radio Shack could set you up with an adapter that has a compatible electrical and physical connection.

The audio cable is standard RCA stereo on ne end and whateve rmatches your PC on the other.

I'm assuming that you have checked that the sound is not muted. To confirm that a reset to factory settings is the next procedure: Menu - Setup - General - Factory settings. If you don't see/hear any modifications then it's a hardware defect, not something with the settings.
This happens when the tv thinks that the headphones are used. Simple test to confirm that: plug in a pair of speakers and see if you get the sound on them. If you get and the situation doesn't changes when you unplug them then this is a mechanical defect: the small switch inside the headphone jack is faulty and keeps signaling that the headphones are plugged in when they are not.
The only way to fix that is to replace the jack, which involves a very delicate soldering procedure , one that only a good repairman can do - you must call one.

The skipping problem you are experiencing may be related to the shaft that the laser assy rides on. It may need a little greasing with silicon grease, just a litte bit. Or it could be the spindle motor is wobbling as it turns. If you are a little tech savy, then you can order a new CD drive assy through Ebay and swap it out when it arrives. If you get this far you need to know how to remove the solder short on the new assy otherwise the new drive will not work.
