Please keep in mind that any type of streaming over mobile data maybe limited based on your mobile plan. Whereas if you use, home or office based wifi, the streaming should be more fluid. My daughters had the same problem, try replacing C411 (I think that was the number on the board), its a 10V 1000uf capacitor in what appears to be the 5V power supply section toward the right rear of the main board, that fixed it. On hers the capacitor was swelled up on the end. I checked it out of the circuit and the DVM I used only indicated it had about 500uf capacity.

You need the cure lock code to change it. There is no work around as that would defeat the purpose of it. The only possibility is to leave it unplugged for a very long tine...like weeks or mobths. Once the microprocessor has been without power for a while it will default to factory settings.

You can use some functions of the MVDR2102 without a remote. You can play a DVD. You can also record a program (one-touch recording) from an external source or a specific channel. You can't access the timer recording function or finalize a disc without a remote that provides those functions.
