Black spots on clothes from a washing machine can be caused by several issues:
Detergent buildup: Clean the detergent dispenser to remove any buildup.
Hard water deposits: Install a water softener to remove minerals that can leave spots on clothes.
Lint buildup: Clean the lint filter to prevent lint buildup.
Poor-quality detergent: Switch to a high-quality detergent.
Agitator problems: Check the agitator for any damage or issues.
If the issue persists, it is recommended to have a professional technician diagnose and repair the problem as it may require technical skills and specialized tools.
It sounds like there could be an issue with either the control assembly or the wiring between it and the washer or dryer. I suggest having a qualified technician take a look at your washer and dryer to check the wiring and control assembly for any problems. The technician should also be able to help you determine the cause of the issue and advise you on how to proceed.

In cold weather an old belt become hard and stiff. When it warms up it is fine. You can either change the belt or you can spray it with Belt Conditioner which helps to soften the rubber and also makes it stickier.

This issue could be caused by a number of things. It is possible that the clothes are not properly balanced in the wash drum, causing them to wrap around the agitator. It could also be a problem with the agitator itself, or with the transmission.
It sounds like you are having trouble getting the lid on your Maytag Bravo top-load washer to close properly, even after replacing the lid strike and the lid latch. There could be a few reasons for this issue:
The lid strike and latch are not properly aligned: Make sure that the lid strike and latch are properly aligned and that the strike is lined up correctly with the latch.
The lid strike is not adjusted correctly: The lid strike may need to be adjusted in order to properly engage the latch. Check the installation instructions for the strike to see if there are any adjustment instructions.
The lid latch is in lock mode: Some Maytag Bravo top-load washers have a lock mode that prevents the lid from being opened during a wash cycle. Make sure that the latch is not in lock mode by checking the owner's manual for instructions on how to unlock the latch.
The lid strike or latch are defective: If you've tried the above steps and the lid still won't close, the new strike or latch may be defective. It's recommended to contact the manufacturer for further assistance or to contact a professional technician for repair.
It's important to make sure that the lid is closed properly before starting a wash cycle to prevent water from leaking out of the washer.

Hi,
Please power cycle your machine and then rotate the cycle dial by 90 degrees counter clockwise (opposite of usual direction of rotation), then attempt to run a wash cycle again. Otherwise, I would run a rinse cycle and poor some toothpaste in the washer in order to unclog any potential blocks before attempting the wash again.
Thank you.
Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker or unplugging for one (1) minute. Power unit up by reconnecting power. Restart a new cycle. Monitor the washer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
Best to you
Holding the Cycle End Signal button for 3 seconds is the way to turn the control lock off and on with this model. If that is not unlocking the control like it should, the first thing you would want to try is unplugging it for 5 minutes to let the controls reset.
Best to you
Before spending much time and possible unnecessary work, the E1-F6 code may be nothing more than your bottom cover plate is not in place or missing. Recently was servicing a Maytag 2000 series wash and during the inspecting of the cycles it quit and flashed those codes. I had been testing it WITHOUT the bottom cover plate on. When I went to install it back on the code disappeared. Problem simply solved.
Mine was resolved after changing the Symmons slide valve at the inlet to the hoses. This valve is spring loaded and does not work if not exercised as open and close on regular basis. My hot water supply was completely shut off and cold water remained open at all time. Check the incoming water pressure by unscrewing the hoses from washer and check water outlet by filling the bucket from both sources. Symmons slide valve at the wall is W-400 and was 25 years old.
If a receipt or other paperwork is not available, the age of a Maytag washer can be found by looking at the serial number. The last two characters of the 10-digit number indicate the year and month of manufacture. A Maytag washer serial number is 10 characters long, with the last two characters being letters.
