First thing I would check are the Carbon Brushes. The are # 75 in the picture

How did you measure the power at the switch Live to N ? that would rule out a break in the cable all that is left is Armature ,Stator coil and wiring to both.

try a squirt of wd-40 or crc to free up the button. The anti rust spray used in assembly has probably got sticky and is jamming the shaft of the button

If you have removed the kerf boards and the center bolt the saw will lift straight off the turn base. It is possible the aluminum is deformed a little, but it will pull straight up and off if that bolt is out
