Question edited to add that it is an LG Washing Machine and not a Sump Drainage Pump. Question moved from Larry's Computer category. Please ALWAYS include 'make model (what it is)' in all questions. This model is very little known and parts are not available. Normally insulated spade connectors.

Washer will not drain: The drain water pump is the main part in your washing machine that pumps out the water. If this is defective or has failed in any way, this will be the reason why your washer will not drain the water. Before you order a new drain pump, make sure to check the pump to be sure a small object like clothing or similar has not lodged itself inside of it causing the NO DRAIN issue and even a no spin issue?. If the drain pump is not clogged, you can test it with a multimeter and remove and replace if needed. If this drain hose is blocked, kinked, bent, or clogged, the washer will NOT be able to remove the water from the tub. Check the drain hose to be sure it allows the water to flow freely. You can take the drain hose off and run water through it in your sink to be sure it is not blocked. If there is water STILL in the washer when you remove the drain hose, grab a bucket as the water will exit from where you disconnected it The water pump belt (to drain out the water) may have broke or become frayed or loose. If this belt breaks then it is unable to drain and remove the water from your washer. Inspect the belt to see if this is causing the NO DRAIN issue and remove and replace if needed. If the lid switch is not working as required it will cause your washer to not drain (and many other problems). This may be unlikely as a bad lid switch will usually cause your washer to also not agitate or spin. However on some models this can vary. The best thing to do if you have a suspected bad lid switch is to test it. It can fail electrically and or mechanically. If mechanical failure is the issue, you should be able to see if it is cracked, broken, or not in place to make contact with the lid. To test it electrically, use a multimeter set on Ohms and test it for continuity My advice is free cuz God is good!

Not enough water getting in your machine make sure your inlet hose isn’t kinked or the water pressure hasn’t dropped.

A dE error code indicates that the washer door was unable to lock. This can normally be resolved by performing a simple reset on the washing machine.
How to reset the washing machine:
1.
Press POWER to turn the washer off.
2.
Unplug the washer from the power outlet or turn the circuit breaker to the unit off.
3.
With the power disabled, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds.
4.
Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on.
5.
For more information about how to reset your specific model, please refer to the owner's manual.
Press in on the door firmly and select any cycle. The washer door should lock, and the cycle should begin without an error code appearing on the display. If the cycle does not begin and the dE code appears again, repair service is required.

Easiest start is to take the top off and check for leaks maybe using a flashlight. Top comes off by removing a couple of screws in back, the sliding it rearward about 3 inches and then lifting up. Good luck. Report back what you find. Use comments.

damper is stiff. i would look at the springs that hold the tub if you take them off a bad one won t close all the way up also check leg mounts for weak medal

Go here,put your model number in to see all parts in your washer,if you think you can change out the hose then do it,find the hose on the diagram,get the part number and order it,or the hose could have pulled off from an unbalanced load but you're looking at it,if it has a hole in it replace it,if it just has to be realigned then do it.this ain't heart surgery lol.just unplug the washer before you open it up.good luck with it.

My guess is replace the drain pump. Inexpensive part but kinda hard to get to. Check out repair videos on parts sites or YouTube

Broken drive belt tho your model number is not for a dryer.

Washer is about 10 years old. So check springs to make sure not broken(unlikely). Then check shock absorbers and see if they look good. Hard to check actual functionality. If you see a problem then that's your issue. If you see nothing, then I would just replace them. They don't last forever. Good luck.

Change the filter alone u will receive the better result.

Suggest try same again. Modern appliances have a zillion circuit connections of which any one of them can develop a "bug". Unless it is under warranty it's usually less trouble and cost to simply replace it.

Hi Santiago, Make a basic check up of the outlet hose, if the hose is towards upward the water will remain in the hose or in drum this will change the system which will result in excess consumption of water. Hence make a straight passage towards ground so that u will find a good result.

The hose from the soap drawer to the tub may be split. These hose have flexible ridges and its common for them to split inside one of the ridges.
