Suds leaking from back of washer near top
Suds are not supposed to leak from the top; means you are not using the right detergent. Use front loading powders. You can open up the top during next wash to locate where the leak is coming from (after changing powder). I understand suds appear in the window during spin....but leak? Caution when machine works with top open!

Switch to powdered detergent. You'll be much happier in the long run. Liquid detergent leaves a residue. Eventually the residue mildews. Powered detergent leaves no residue. Plus you will solve your current issue. Also skip the softener and use plain white vinegar in its place. The vinegar helps eliminate mildew and it also helps release Dey from your clothes in the rinse cycle.

Modern appliances have a zillion circuit connections of which any one of them can develop a "bug".
Unless it is under warranty it's usually less trouble and cost to simply replace it.
Hi! We bought our WM2455H washer on February
Do a tub clean cycle. Hottest water, no clothes, cup of bleach in washer, fill bleach dispenser with bleach, fill softener with bleach. Run once or twice. The 'grease' is actually residue from liquid detergent and/or softener. So stop using liquid detergent and switch to powdered (no residue believe it or not). Use plain white vinegar in place of softener. The acid eliminates the mildew residue and also helps get detergent residue out of your clothes. Good luck.

Find the drain pump and check the sloppiness of the impeller, if it has sloppiness in the shaft it throws a code and some times it will work just enough to not throw a code but not pull the water enough at spin cycle...
They run around $150 online, fairly easy to replace.
The slowing of the machine may be a limp mode, so that you don't tear up the rest of the machine...good luck!

What does IE error code on LG front loader mean
"IE" is an error code that indicates a
water inlet problem on an LG washing machine. This code will appear if
the washer is not filled to the correct level within eight minutes after
switching it on. Possible causes for the IE code include partially
closed taps, improperly attached inlet hoses or clogged inlet hose
filters.

its best to get an engineer to the problem as it could be anything at all or just an alignment problem eric
Does anyone know how to remove the top cover of
Disconnect the LG front load washer power cord from the wall outlet. Turn off the water supply to the washer at the water spigots coming from the wall.
Pull the washer 3 feet away from the wall, and disconnect the water supply hoses from the water inlet valve ports on the back of the washer. You may need a pair of channel lock pliers to loosen the hose connections.
Remove the screws securing the back of the top panel to the back of the washer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Depending upon your model, you will have either two or four screws to remove.
Lift the back of the top panel up, and slide the top panel toward the rear wall, which will unhook the top panel from the clips securing the panel in the front of the washer. Lift the top panel off the washer and out of your working area.
Washer stinks when the water goes IN.
As water goes in, it vents air out back of washer. Try adding a cup of bleach to tub, fill softener dispenser with bleach and run an empty load on the hottest setting possible. You have mildew built up on outer drum. Do this once a week for awhile until smell goes away. Stop using softener. It leaves a residue in drum that can mildew. Use powdered detergent instead of liquid. The liquid also leaves a residue. Use plain white vinegar in place of softener on every load. It helps stop mildew since it is slightly acidic and as a bonus it helps remove soap residue from your clothes-plus it's inexpensive compared to softener. Leave door ajar after every wash and wipe down rubber door gasket on all sides. Good luck.

hi Shellinator7.
check the small drain hose on the side of the pump that is clogged, then that is not a failure that will significantly affect the normal operation of the washer. If your washer is not draining okay and you don't mind catching some water that spills out of that pump filter area when you open it up, then you don't necessarily need to remove that front panel and bother with unclogging that small drain hose. If the large hose between the tub and the pump or the discharge hose between the pump and the house drain behind the washer is clogged, then you may need to open up that cabinet.

LG TROMM CLOTHES WASHER - "LE" ERROR CODE
I tried a solution I found elsewhere - worked great. I had turned my drum enough to cause the display to turn on (a glitch in their program, I think), then I got the LE code on the next cycle.
Unplug for 10 minutes. Turn back on and press the Rinse & Spin button, then set Spin Speed to No Spin. Run this cycle, which should work fine. Afterwards, you should be able to run your machine as normal. If this doesn't work, replacing the Hall sensor would be the next step.
Whirlpool frontend washer smelly cloths...need
I have this problem with my Siemens machine, it is due to mainly running low temp washes and bateria building up in the hoses etc. (more prevalent if the machine is connected directly to the sink and not on a stand pipe). I run a 90 degree cycle every 4 weeks with the machine empty except for two capfuls of baby sterilisng fluid (approx half a mug) I buy stores own as it is cheaper than miltons. The first time I did mine I ran the cycle twice to be sure it was cleared out. My machine is six years old and the first smelly signs were when it was about a year old, I run the maintenance wash religiously ever 4 weeks and run a machine descaler such as oust thru every 4-6 months. Hope this helps. Roni. (ps don't be tempted to use bleach as it foams up and can cause more problems!!)
