I have a lavazza espresso point and both red lights are flashing

I've found if you check the basics and the obvious first it's often something silly you've missed. Is there water in the tank? Yes, I've done that. How old is the machine? Parts do wear out if it's used regularly. Are you only making one or two cups of coffee or are you making four or more cups all together? If the machine gets too hot through continuous use it will go into a "Safe" mode until it cools down. With the machine unplugged from the wall wait until it it totally cold. Open the water tank and drain as much water out as you can. At the bottom of the tank there should be a small plastic rocker arm. This is the water level switch. Use you finger and check it flops up and down. Refill the water tank and plug it back into the wall socket. Run the machine through the 'hot water Only' cycle twice. This can flush the pipes inside the machine. Let the machine cool down then put it through a Descaling cycle. Are all the spouts and nozzles clean and not clogged? Sometime a slow flow of water can cause error lights. If non of these check solve the issue it is most likely a problem with an internal part. You'll need to get a professional repairer to do the work.

Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine

Here are some possible reasons why the water in your Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine leaks out of the machine and no coffee comes out of the coffee pod:
  • The water tank is not filled properly. Make sure that the water tank is filled to the correct level. The water level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the water tank.
  • The coffee pod is not inserted properly. Make sure that the coffee pod is inserted into the machine properly. The coffee pod should be inserted all the way into the machine until it clicks into place.
  • The coffee pod is clogged. If the coffee pod is clogged, the water will not be able to flow through the pod and into the cup. Try using a different coffee pod or try cleaning the coffee pod.
  • The machine is not descaled properly. If the machine is not descaled regularly, it can build up calcium deposits, which can prevent the water from flowing through the machine properly. Try descaling the machine with a descaling solution.
  • The machine is defective. If you have checked all of the above and the problem persists, then the machine may be defective. In this case, you will need to contact Lavazza customer support for further assistance.
Here are some additional tips that might help:
  • Use fresh, cold water. Stale or warm water can affect the taste of the coffee.
  • Use a good quality coffee. Cheap coffee beans can make the coffee taste bitter.
  • Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse grind. A too fine grind can make the coffee taste bitter, while a too coarse grind can make the coffee taste weak.
  • Clean the coffee machine regularly. A dirty coffee machine can make the coffee taste bitter.
I hope this helps!

Lavazza Classy Plus LB400 stuck in "rinse" mode after descaling - help!!

If your Lavazza Classy Plus LB400 coffee machine is stuck in "rinse" mode after descaling, it could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the water tank: Make sure that the water tank is properly filled and that the water level is high enough to complete the rinse cycle.
  2. Check the water filter: Make sure that the water filter is clean and not clogged. A clogged water filter can prevent the machine from completing the rinse cycle.
  3. Check the descaling solution: Make sure that the correct descaling solution is being used and that it is being used in the correct amount.
  4. Check the hoses and lines: Make sure that the hoses and lines are not clogged or blocked.
  5. Check the machine's firmware: Make sure that your machine's firmware is up to date and that there is no error.
  6. Perform a factory reset: If the above steps did not resolve the issue, then you can try performing a factory reset on your machine by following the instructions in the user manual.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting Lavazza's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or may recommend a qualified technician to repair the unit. If your machine is stuck in descale mode and you are unable to initiate the descale process again, it could be a problem with the machine's control board. The control board is responsible for managing the various functions of the machine, and if it is malfunctioning, it can prevent the machine from completing the descale process. Another possibility is that the descale sensor is not working properly, it might be stuck and it's preventing the machine from exiting the descaling process. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Try to unplug the machine for a longer period of time, like 30 minutes, and then plug it back in to see if that resets the machine.
  2. Check the water lines and hoses for any clogs or blockages, as this can prevent the machine from completing the rinse cycle.
  3. Contact Lavazza customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or may recommend a qualified technician to repair the unit.
  4. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, I would recommend you to contact a professional repair service.
It's worth noting that the troubleshooting steps might vary depending on the specific model of Lavazza Classy Plus LB400 and the cause of the error.

Lavazza espresso point coffee won't brew coffee but water comes out of steam pipe.

  1. Make sure the water tank is filled and properly seated in the machine.
  2. Check the water flow from the steam pipe. If the water flow is strong and consistent, it is possible that the coffee brewing mechanism is clogged or malfunctioning.
  3. Check the coffee pod for any damage or debris that may be preventing it from brewing properly.
  4. Make sure the machine is properly calibrated and that the coffee brewing settings are correct.
If none of these suggestions fix the issue, it is possible that there is a deeper problem with the machine that may require the help of a professional repair service or the manufacturer to diagnose and repair.

My Lavazza Espresso Point red light next to light bulb light is always flashing, What does that mean?

The light above the STOP button is a power indicator. It will be illuminated when the machine is powered on. This light will blink steadily if there is an issue with the thermostats or the unit is running too hot. Before calling for service, try running the HOT WATER function to allow water to pass through the boiler. This light may also begin to blink after making multiple espressos in a row or using the steam wand for a prolonged period of time. If the light returns to a solid red, your machine is functioning properly and there is no need for service.

I am trying to get my lavazza espresso point working again after not using it for a few years. The low water light is blinking even though there is water and it is not heating. What should I do?

There has to be some kind water sensor, either float or electronic - capacity sensing or optical. Look for that and check, maybe is dirty or not moving ( if float )

Lavazza point espresso machine no steam

Sounds like a clogged steam pipe or a jammed two-way valve. First, I would try unfolding a small paper clip and then stick it up the spout of the steam pipe. if this does not free up the steaming arm then it is most likely a clogged two way valve. Should you need service you can call 781-393-2929. we are an authorized lavazza distributor and service center
