What does Krups EA9000, code 2 mean?
That info is not supplied via the normal service centre channels. Take it to an Authorised Service Centre and if they have not seen it before they will contact Groupe SEB to find out what needs doing.
Spring came out - where does it go?
That is from your dripp stop. If you can replace it it will be in the bottom of your filter holder. If not Please tkae out the valve on the bottom of this filter holder. You will have no dripp stop but it will work just fine.
Hi, Cant get any water/steam through our FNC3
If you have not been cleaning the inside water lines, lime deposits form and clog the lines. When a coffee make sits for a period of time, deposits form inside the lines and act as crystals to block or obstruct the inside of the line. Pass a small wire into the line and brake the deposits loose. Flush the lines accordingly.
Krups 4000 coffee machine wont make strong coffee
Maybe the grind is too fine and it is building up too much back pressure. Max is normally around 15 bar, more than that and the pump stops functioning. Also try another silver bucket that holds the grounds, if it is double walled sometimes grinds too small can block them between the skins. There was often a single wall bucket available that eliminated the blockage problem.
Where can I find a service/repair manual for my Krups xp4030
Krups do not supply a service manual for this model so you are only going to get information from others who have done repairs on them. The service info only refers to a leak at the pump high pressure exit elbow (you replace it and the high pressure tube) and an overflow leak at the top of the brewing handle (you replace the inner plastic guts of the handle with improved part) The rest is follow your nose to find faults and solutions. You may be better to post your specific problem. I only ever worked on the more expensive models with integrated grinders.
My Krups won't brew
The culprit is probably the thermal fuse. It's under the bottom cover, and you have to have Torx security bits (the ones with the holes in the middle) to remove the three screws holding it in place.
Sadly, the thermal fuse is not resettable. Once it's tripped, it's dead. If you have this problem, forget about getting Krups or their lame service agent, smallappliance.com, to repair it.
Both contacts I had with Krups were unsatisfactory. The factory/customer service folks say that there are no parts available and to buy a new coffee pot. Great solution. You can damn well believe it won't be a Krups. Or is it ****?
An otherwise perfectly functioning unit gets sent to the landfill because the folks at Krups can't be troubled to find the part number. Idiots.
For your info, there are thermal interrupters made by several manufacturers. The trip temperature on the breaker is 318 degrees, C. Something in the neighborhood of 200 degrees C would probably work, but would have to be soldered in. If you are comfortable with doing that, it's a solution.
