Front load kenmore elite washing machine is leaking suds in spite of using HE detergent
Hi,
please lower the amount of water in the washer machine by one-third if possible and do the same for the amount of detergent that you usually use. If that fails, please power cycle your washing machine. If the leaks are not coming from the top of the washing machine via overflow. Then, you might need to schedule for a repair of the washer.
Thank you.
Kenmore series 90 it's makes a ticking kind of sound when spinning and does not spin fast.
Hi,
please redistribute the weight of the clothes within your washer. This should improve the speed issue. And then you can attempt to locate what part of the washer the ticking sound comes from. If possible to, you can attempt to open the either the cover or back of the washer and look for any loose objects that seems to be out of place and use a non-flammable tape to it to the wall of the washer before using another test run.
Thank you.
Clothes coming out with stains they didn't have - looks like oil/grease
Front load greasy residue ,
Due usually to much detergent in each load, use smaller amounts.
To much detergent degrades the rubber seals and gaskets and rubber seal also in some front loaders around the door too!
Over the life of a front loading washer the seal/gasket degrades
largely due to the chemicals in the detergent as well as bleach.
Most gaskets/seals get hard and brittle therefore the over the life of a front loading washer
the seal/gasket degrades largely due to the chemicals in the detergent as well as bleach.
....please rate this ....thanks
Kenmore front load washer rocks when spinning and cant seem to get it level so that it doesnt rock side to side
By 'side to side' I'm assuming you mean it's rocking left to right and not front to back? The most common direction it will rock will be on a diagonal line. How far is it rocking? A small amount or a large amount? Small amounts can be adjusted. If it has recently started rocking badly, especially on high spin, it might suggest there is another issue that needs looking at.
Most machines only have adjusters on the front. Wind both feet all the way In then wind them both Out again 5 full turns. You might need a helper for this as you will need to tilt the machine to take the weight off the feet. Physically push and pull the machine to see which direction it is rocking. It will always rock on the highest points. On the corner that lifts wind that foot Out half a turn and the other foot In half a turn. Repeat this using Half or Quarter turns until the machine levels out. If the rocking direction changes sides wind the foot you have just wound Out back In the half/ quarter turn you have just used but Not the other foot.
You might need to 'fine tune' with more eighth and quarter turns over the next few times you use the machine. At this point you only need to adjust the foot that actually lifts off the floor.
If it rocks evenly down the centre line of the machine it might be the actual floor causing the issue.
