My karcher K7 seems to keep blowing the fuse in my extension cable..any ideas ??
The following methods, according to Check Appliance, may help you address the problem:
- Check that the cable is inserted into the power socket and that the power switch is switched on.
- Check to see if connecting into a different power outlet makes a difference.
- Check that your extension wire is no longer than 10 meters (30 feet).
- Check to see whether the fuse or circuit breaker needs to be reset.
If these methods do not solve the problem, it is conceivable that the pressure switch is malfunctioning, causing the motor to draw too much current and blow the fuse. You should inspect the pressure switch for evidence of damage or dysfunction.
For my karcher FC5 - the cleaning water doesn't come out ??
I had this problem and partially fixed it accidentally by taking the whole thing to pieces a d re-assembling it and it worked...fir a week. ITS THE GREY BUTTON ...after further failing to release detergent I read about the Grey button being depressed and mine was too ..solid I couldn't get it to pop ip and this is why. Take the bottom cover off to show the detergent tube in its holder...undo the two screws holding the black bracket and gently ease it out...then replace it ..but here's the key.. the bottom of the bracket needs to sit under the grey button ...when I pressed the grey button it on one occasion pushed down lower than the black bracket ( it slipped past the ledge of the black bracket) this prevented the Grey button from coming back up and squeezed the detergent tube closed. So make sure the ledge of the black bracket goes under the bottom of the Grey button.. This took me 5 mi a to fix rather than the 1 hour totally dismantling the whole machine. Remember when pressing the Grey button to clean the cover not tu push down too hard as it will slip below the bracjet ( got to be a design error ) Happy cleaning ???? Andy
Karcher K2 Compact - Motor permanently running/no pressure
It sounds like there may be a potential issue with the pressure build-up mechanism in your Karcher K2 compact. The constant motor running without water pressure could indicate a problem with the pump or the pressure switch. I would recommend checking the following:
1. Check the inlet filter: Ensure that the inlet filter is clean and free from any debris or blockages. A clogged filter can restrict water flow and affect pressure.
2. Inspect the nozzle: Make sure the nozzle is not obstructed or damaged. A blocked or damaged nozzle can restrict water flow and affect pressure as well.
3. Check the pressure switch: The pressure switch is responsible for regulating the motor and water flow. It's possible that the switch is faulty or not functioning correctly. Consider contacting Karcher customer support or a professional technician for assistance with checking and possibly replacing the pressure switch.
4. Examine the pump: There might be an issue with the pump itself. It could be worn out, clogged, or experiencing other internal problems. In such cases, it's best to reach out to Karcher customer support or a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair.
Remember to always follow safety precautions and consult the user manual provided by Karcher for specific troubleshooting steps and guidelines.
Karcher window vac screeching when turned on. Why ?
If you can hear the vac squeaking as you run across the window, you've just not applied enough liquid. Just go over the window again with the spray bottle and microfibre cloth and then vacuum the liquid away.
Electric Pressure Washer Wont Turn On
I had the same problem. I removed the spray part of the spray gun so I was on soap setting and I had water but when I reconnected the spray wand same thing.
* I turned out to be a little bit of grit was in the nozzle. I cleaned out the grit and my spray cleaner worked without a problem.
Powerwasher hose to gun keeps blowing off when i
Somewhere on the nozzle there is a lock. You must properly seat and lock the nozzle. Otherwise, guess what happens.
If you have done all this, I must surmise the lock is broken or has dirt in it.
Clean it real good - wash it out with water - and try again.
Hope this helps
