Washing machine wont spin

A lot of times the bearing wear... they are placed around the drum and maybe sticking.. If it squealed or made funny noises check those first. It would be like putting on a break and trying to drive a car.

Hoover 500M Top Load washer - Water overflow & machine wont wash

Probably very repairable but impossible to say how much without looking inside and fiddling around and checking a few things. Fault could be caused by several possible faults at widely varying cost. I suggest you call a friendly local white appliance engineer...

Can anyone tell me what

The cold water feed pipe is attached to the inlet solenoid valve. That's a nylon-looking body with a threaded inlet to which you connect the hose. If the nylon is cracked, you need a new valve, which costs about £20 incl P&P for an equivalent from Ransom Spares, part no. RS122987 https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/brands/hoover/washing-machines/hc6150muk/ REMINDER: Disconnect from power supply and ensure water is securely turned OFF before you dismantle the machine ! To avoid further frost damage, turn off the water and disconnect the pipe in cold weather. A more convenient solution would be a small thermostatic electric space heater to warm the area when it gets cold.

Hoover nextra 7 program stops part way though

A possible fault that is consistent with your symptoms is that the water level sensing is confused. This is usually a column of water in a plastic tube bearing on a diaphragm switch which operates when the weight of water is sufficient to trip it. The water level is adjusted by a dial which alters the pre-loading on the switch, meaning it needs a bigger or lesser column of water to trip it. If there is a leak in the tube, that would account for the water level trying to cycle. Any water underneath the machine? If so it is a good indicator that is the right track. If not it still may be that fault, but the leaking water is just not making it to the floor. It is normal that the program suspends for filling, and it will not give rise to an error. Also normal is flow through the detergent drawer whenever there is a fill cycle. What is not normal is the repeated fill cycles. Also investigate the actual switch associated with the level sensing. It might have bad contacts. Please post what you eventually find the fault to be. Helps everyone, especially those trying to diagnose at a distance.

Can't open the door timers saver & 1200 spin lights flash

There is a known problem with these washers whereby a small electrical current 'leak' from the heater element causes the machine to think it still has water in it. Disconnect the wires on the heater (tape them up or otherwise make safe) then run a cycle to verify that part as the problem.

Hi my Hoover 2307L washing machine won't empty water Is this a problem that will cost a lot of $$$$?

WP35-6465 is the pump number it is about $50.00 if you buy and install. Call a Repair shop and ask them for the price of parts and labor. I don't know how old your machine is so weigh the cost of repair to a new machine.
