Looking for the service manual for a weller mini shop model 601 Dremel tool

I'm sorry, but I don't have access to specific service manuals for individual tools. However, here are some steps you can follow to find a service manual for your Weller Mini Shop Model 601 Dremel tool:
  1. Visit the Weller website: The Weller website may have a library of manuals for its products, including the Mini Shop Model 601.
  2. Check the manufacturer's support page: Most manufacturers have a support page on their website where you can find user manuals, FAQs, and other resources.
  3. Search online: You can also try searching online for a digital copy of the manual. Websites like ManualsLib and ManualsOnline may have the manual you need.
  4. Contact the manufacturer: If you're unable to find the manual online, you can contact the manufacturer directly and request a copy. You may need to provide your tool's model number and other information.
I hope this helps you find the service manual for your Weller Mini Shop Model 601 Dremel tool.

My Dremel lock nut won't budge. My collet is

You'll need to use either the built in shaft lock to hold the collet in a fixed position, or use a pair of slip joint pliers to hold the shaft of the bit, while you use the wrench to loosen the collet. Slow and steady should get it loose. Another option is use some penetrating oil sprayed lightly onto the back of the collet to help loosen it from the shaft etc.

It appears that the locking mechanism that is

This can happen if you accidentally depress the spindle locking button while the tool is running -- a common problem since Dremel did not include any type of interlock to prevent it, and the button is right where you'd hold the tool for best control. If that happens, you probably will need to replace the tool or send it to Dremel for repair.

My stylus is doing exactly the same thing. l was advised by numerous people to change the capacitor in the charging dock, they also said that you can find youtube videos to guide you through it (the capacitor only cost a few cents when l bought it). I really should finish doing that job, although l did actually remove the 'screws'' from the base, l warn you- they are triangle and a nightmare to unscrew, see if you can find a triangle screwdriver BEFORE you start, or you'll end up doing what l did and destroying a perfectly good straight screwdriver!??. Good luck

Changing dremel heads

I have exactly the same unit a 395. The kit comes w/ a wrench to unscrew the nut holding whatever you have locked in. If you can't find the wrench then I suggest you get an adjustable wrench and lock it into the flat side of the nut. There is a place where it will lock in so that you can tighten or loosen the nut. Some of the 395's come as a kit w/ all the different attachments, accessories, heads and tools. If it came with a plastic case the wrench is usually slotted running parallel just in front of the handle. You will see it when you open the case and take a top view look at the handle. It is sometime hard to see but it's just there. Good luck.

My Dremel tool motor still works but shaft won't turn?

Here's the email from I got from Dremel (in my case the flex coupling broke):
Inside the tool is a flex coupling and spline driver.

The flex coupling is # 2615294309 and the price is $ 1.25.
This is the hollow plastic sleeve about 1" long with grooves on the
inside, that goes between the motor shaft and the output shaft.

The spline driver is # 2615294308 at $ 1.00.
Spline driver sits on the direct end of the motor shaft. The flex
coupling sits over the spline driver. Spline driver is about 1/4",
hard plastic with grooves on the outside.

Total shipping for orders under $ 5.00 is $ 2.50. Orders over $
5.00 is $ 4.00.

My dremel 3000 stopped working while in use. What parts do I need to repair?

There is a coupling between the drive motor and the chuck. You will need to take the tool apart to replace it. E-bay has these.
