Location to remove and replace a starter on a 2006 Dodge Durango
The starter on a 2006 Dodge Durango is located under the vehicle, towards the passenger side. Specifically, it's near the transmission, mounted on the lower side of the engine block.
Note that the exact location might vary slightly based on the specific Durango model and engine type.
Also, be careful when attempting to remove and replace the starter, as it involves dealing with electrical components which can be dangerous if handled improperly.

I have a 2006 dodge stratus sxt 2.7 with error code p0804
On an Auto transmission the codes is listed as "1-4 Upshift Skip Shift Lamp Control Circuit Malfunction". This is an issue with the 'Manual' feature next to the "D" on the shifter where you push/pull the lever to skip gears. There is a light that turn on when you move the shifter across to this function.
The light for this can fail or the wiring to it can become faulty. This confuses the electronics as it can't read if your in full auto or the Semi-Auto setting. Get a good auto electrician to look at this as could be something as simple as a blown bulb. They will be able to check for any faults in the wiring to it as well.
