How do wrist guards help with preventing injury when roller-skating?

Roller skating is safe as long as safety precautions are taken and common sense is utilised. Roller skating gets a bad rep from people, but even a sport like football which many are okay with their kids playing can cause serious damage to their kids. So why does roller skating alone get such heat? Probably because of how it is seen in pop-culture; pop-culture portrays roller skaters as people with a lower sense of regard for safety and as adrenaline junkies. If roller skating was performed under supervision along with the person using all the safety gear, there should be nothing to worry about. Also, those YouTube hits aren't worth getting your bones broken. To learn more visit Thrill Appeal website.

When I fill my ice rink, should I use hot or cold water?

Cold water is best for building up depth. Hot water makes for a stronger, smoother surface after a base depth is established. At least one hot water flood is recommended before skating for the first time.
