When I fill my ice rink, should I use hot or cold water?
Cold water is best for building up depth. Hot
water makes for a stronger, smoother surface after a base depth is established.
At least one hot water flood is recommended before skating for the first time.

When is The Best Time to Install My Backyard Ice Rink?
Any time after the onset of cold weather. It is
always best to fill the Liner as soon as it is in place, to prevent accidental
damage from wind, animals, debris under the Liner, or walking on the Liner with
certain types of shoes.

Should I wear a protective helmet when rollerblading?
There is no law that suggests
that you must wear a protective helmet when rollerblading - however if you are
prone to falling over like me then it would be advisable to wear something to
protect your precious head.

What are knee pads made from?
Knee pads for rollerblading
are usually made from elastic with foam padding and they usually have a plastic
plate which is made for sliding out on.
