Why does water expand when it freezes?
As water freezes the molecules it is made from become a rigid framework. Think of it like scaffolding poles. they take up a lot less space when the are all in a pile but they take up a lot more space when you bolt them together.

How to use fume hoods?
I remember how at the University at the first laboratory work I was almost exposed to all harmful fumes. The teacher made me write an entire essay on safety at work. I turned to
Paperial.com for writing a quality essay. But since then, there have been no such incidents. Therefore, carefully read the safety precautions and the most important advice: to improve how well fumes are taken up and away, put your reactions or equipment as far back in the fume hood as you possibly can.
Error 3
Error 3 is a Door lock error and has nothing to do with the water sensor. Tighten the door down snuggly, but don't over-tighten. If it still doesn't work it may need a door rebuild or switch replacement. Call for service if it doesn't restart.
Error 2 in 5417R,how do i solve it?thanks
Error 2 on this model indicates that the imbalance sensor is tripped. If you run the unit with an empty rotor and it does not error, then it simply means that your load was imbalanced. Make sure to put vials into the unit opposite each other, as below.
If it displays "Error 2" with an empty rotor and you did not notice a vibration, then the imbalance sensor is broken and must be replaced. Do not attempt to run the centrifuge without the imbalance sensor, as serious injury may result.
I repair these machines, but you would have to ship it to me in Ohio, which would probably be very expensive.
Here is a rotor balance chart:
